So, everyone's already been talking about the Crazy Taxi leak from a few weeks ago, and now it's been followed by a by a whole swath of new trailers and leaks for new SEGA IPs. The Shinobi one looks familiar, but there's also a new Golden Axe and Streets of Rage in the works. With the big one being a possible Jet Set Radio sequel.

I'm a little torn about the art style, but it's been 20 years, and after Team Reptile stole their lunch money with the look, it was certainly time for a change. Hopefully they learn from the mandated limit break mods for Bombrush Cyberpunk and just let you go apeshit with the movement.

I mean, that too...

But a whole new game has got to count for something.
It does. Too bad Bomb Rush Cyberfunk came out, and it's getting a sequel coming out next year. I am still interested in playing the new Jet Set.

that leak video looks really fake to me,
the first video is 2 years old now, and all we got is the new shinobi...
Sega needs to get MORE busy if you ask me...
anyways, i'm just gonna go play bombrush cyberfunk which already feels like a sequel, sega should just hire those devs since they know what they're doing...
if you have NOT played bombrush, you're absolutely missing out, it's better than JSRF to me in some ways.

Meanwhile people just want a port of Jet Set Radio Future...
I heard it is being decompiled for a pc port. However, people I think should really fire up an Xbox emulator and play it if they haven't done it in decades. I don't think the game is that good as they say it is...

Cool new designs. I assume the lady in the wheelchair is Sierra. I'm more of a fan of the style of Jet Set than the games themselves. The first game was fun enough where I could stomach a playtrough but it had many problems. The sequel improves on many things but it is such a slog, I couldn't finish it. Haven't played Bomb Rush Cyberfunk so can't compare it to the other games. So anyway, I hope this time around we get a Jet Set game where I can enjoy the style and gameplay close to if not equally.

That is all I want from the original Xbox, if we get anything, it's that, I recall actually enjoying that at the time, so much. It's atmosphere/vibes was pretty great and unmatched to this day and no matter how good the net JSR game it is, it simply isn't future ::sadkirby

They should make a new Burning Rangers or Magic Knight Rayearth, either way. Ill buy this new Jet Set game looks fun and the music is catchy.

shut up and take my money GIF

I'm hyped, I think the artstyle is not a total depart but actually a continuation, if what is in the video is what SEGA is really cooking. A realistic art style would absolutely kill the soul of those games, the wacky colorful suggests me cell shading and the SEGA blue sky is actually fitting to build the future. I just think they are too slow, maybe they are just being careful to not go bankrupt like the console era. Crazy Taxi looks so cool, definitely a game that has space and could benefit a lot from gameplay changes to extrapolate the game. NGL a open world for some of those games would be a really nice addition.

It has a bit of that "Remake made under Unreal" vibe going on.

After all of these projects were announced damn near 3 years ago it is about time we start seeing stuff about them. Shinobi released and official Crazy Taxi accounts have posted that the gameplay reveal will be soon so I assume that during Summer Games Fest tomorrow and maybe at Xbox's showcase on the 7th we'll see both of those projects in action officially. Art style is still solid, I love the designs of the cast all grown up now and so long as the music slaps I'll be there!
