Sabotain: Break the Rules is a completely one of a kind FPS/RPG hybrid that was suppose to be Russia's answer to Dues Ex but ended up unfinished and missing a ton of its features. Despite that, it is easily one of my most memorable experiences in gaming due to the choices made gameplay wise and the absolutely baffling things that happen in the story. I absolutely couldn't wait to upload this one. I am proud to have added Sabotain to this site and hope you all give this one a try because this is a one of a kind gaming experience, bar none. Its baffling, its weird, its amazing, its Sabotain.

It says "DirectX setup has determined that a newer version of DirectX is already installed. No Installation was necessary."

I took a look and the only idea I could have with that is that you need to install the direct X it came with on the disk. I ripped it and uploaded the folder here:

DX FILE

If you install that and it still doesn't work then I have no idea, sorry

Also as for it saying its still running is something that happened to me too. Just restarted the computer. Euro janks jank strikes like that sometimes.

Doesn't seem to work for me. It loads up the Akella intro, then just crashes.

Tried with and without the widescreen patch.

Even weirder, if I try to delete the folder after running it, it says I can't because the folder or a file in it is in use in another program.

Absolutely! I do have a soft spot for this game and the music is one of the things it does very well.

The game is indeed an unfinished jankfest but I love it

I made my own repack of this game a few years ago. It really is a marvellously janky game. Sounds like you fixed a lot of its issues, as well. Thank you for the upload!

Thanks for being the first! I didn't see it at all honestly.

There are a lot more issues to be fixed then some video problems and a chest sadly but at least you can play it.

Lost, obscure, and unfinished PC games from the early 2000's are a huge favorite of mine. Really happy this is being worked on and I'm excited to play it.

Glad your happy! The patch may take a while because I need to ask a few friends to help me with stuff I don't quite understand but there is still a large chunk of it I can still work on without help so its not all bad!

If your talking about my planned patch I can't promise finished but I am going to restore, fix and balance out whatever I can. The other binary part of it is completely confusing and ill have to ask someone for help on that front lol
