RGT Nostalgia Society #13 - The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Finally got all the heart pieces.

Grinding for the 130 figures was a chore

Kinstone fusion done!

I still have to defeat the last boss, but at least I can say I made my younger self happy by finally getting all hearts and doing every kinstone fusion

Damn so basically you finished 100% achievement '>' congrats
Not quite yet. There are some post-game things to take care of before I can say I got the 100%. Nothing major.

Still, I thinking if I should Master the game on RetroArchievements. The archievements I'm missing are related to the post game content but also no-damage fights against two bosses and a second run of the entire game without getting heart pieces and conteiners but I don't think I have in me to do them, still, it would be a shame leave 2-3 archievements hanging.

Well, I'll think about that later

You should do it! The second run should be very quick without all the heart pieces, fusions and figurines shenanigans ::barve-boy

I didn't get much progress today, after a few hours of gameplay, I saved the game, closed the emulator just to notice an "emulator failed to save data" window hidden behind it::badpc. At least I got the flippers now, time to get wet😈

People disliked Toon Link yet he was one of the most expressive Link ever made.
Wind Waker was my first Zelda game. And I adore Toon Link to this day!

I'm about to hop on and play more Minish after almost taking a week off. Thankfully Elzo will remind me roughly where to go next. 😤 I'm hoping to make some progress today.

::omgdoom oof that sucks. So the virtual mem card glitched? That's never happened to me, but paranoia over things like that is why I also put a save state after I save before closing. But save states can fail to load as well sometimes >_<

Yeah, but this time it was my fault, I fell asleep and the computer hibernated, I saved and closed the game before the USB hard drive had time to wake up😅

That one frustrated me because I forgot about the smol room with that one key >_< I remembered the room and that it needed the mitts, but couldn't remember how to get to it ::angrygenjin So I wandered around for probably half an hour before I figured it out >_<

Something similar happened to me in Zelda 1, I was walking all the dungeon without the last key

I actually had something of a weird experience like this, too. That puzzle with the two statues and the weirdly spaced tiles that you could use to duplicate yourself. I must've done it and completely blanked that I did it because I tried doing it again and was like "IT'S NOT WORKING WHY IS IT NOT WORKING. I NEED THE KEYYYY." - So the best I can think of is I must've been playing after having a seizure, whoops. XD
