Forgot about the ending entirely. Really enjoyed playing through this one though. Was originally going for NG+ right away so I can get all of Yordha and her mom's dialogue, but, in the end, just used YouTube.

Can't wait to see what we've got coming up next month!!!

I dunno what I was expecting to happen in the video, but I only really registered what you'd typed after I Was done. so basically I just watched Ico and Yorda do one down a tall walkway with no context.

Thanks!!! NGL there were so many times that I had to redo stuff that should have been easy because I accidentally sent myself careening to my death off of a precipice.

Honestly I only failed once from having Yordha get dragged to hell or w/e it is they do to her in there. I think that's gotta be a record for me tbh, usually she's always getting dragged off when I play this game lmao

Indeed I did xD I was looking on other RA profiles and I saw Chris Tarrant's mug grinning back at me and I thought "Yeah, I need that for my profile".
I put it at the very end, so it's the last thing people see in my awards section.

It took me longer than I care to admit to beat the game because I was determined to earn the £1 million without Googling xD by the time I went to get the few other cheevos I didn't need to Google because I'd seen all the questions so many times.


There's also one of Regis for the American fans too. xD

Ah man - I got halfway through this before I stopped my PSN subscription. I need to get it and finish! SotC is one of my all time favourite games, and I love the feel of the world and the show-don't-tell storytelling that helps you piece together what is happening.

Finished just before the weekend

Maybe I'll go for the lightsaber and watermelon in a new game+, but right now, I'm also finishing up Super Junkoid DX.

Just finished the area with the dam. I've had to double check a couple times that what I was trying to do was the correct solution. Accidentally spoiled a neat secret by doing that with a tree that I surely wouldn't have stumbled across otherwise. Hopefully there are more secrets, the areas feel kind of empty otherwise. It's a puzzle game first and an action game last, the camera makes me nauseous at times but overall I'm enjoying it.

The second play through goes by a lot faster. Plus mastering the super yeet is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.
But heads up, if you do plan on using super yeet, you will skip past the section of the game that houses the light saber! I made a backup save so I could get the special item and then reloaded to make sure I'd be able to finish the game in under 3 hours.

There are definitely a couple of times in the game where the intended solution seems like a long shot/sequence breaking. But I guess that adds to the charm.

One thing I really like about this game is that it does a great job of making me care about the horned boy's plight. There were so many moments in the game where if I was in that kid's shoes I'd have just said "Nope. Sorry Yorha, guess you're stuck here forever. :("
