Mine's the Retroid Pocket 5. And I don't even play proper games on it since I got suckered into trying Resident Evil Survival Mission.

Currently my GBA SP so I can get my Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow to level 100 so I can transfer it to Stadium and unlock the ability to teach it Surf(its been on my bucket list since I was a kid). But besides that, my jailbroken 3DS, jailbroken Vita, and my R36S handheld.

I actually use it when I want a handheld device, a old Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I got it because the cameras didn’t work, so I got a good price. I have no idea what happened to the cameras, and I didn’t care. Combined with a Yoidesu Telescopic Gamepad Controller. It runs anything I care to play, I can play up to PS2 and Dreamcast. I'm sure I could do Wii and GameCube if I cared to try, but I honestly just use it for Dreamcast mostly when I’m killing time waiting to get somewhere or while I’m waiting on a package.

Usually the New 3DS and the Retroid Pocket 5
Occasionally the GBA
Very rarely I take out the PSP or PS Vita

I've been wanting to get a vita for a minute now, but don't want to shell out the 200 bucks for one at the moment.

It's a cop out, but I use my phone which is an Galaxy S25 Ultra with an Xbox Series controller and its a beast. Haven't had any problems with emulation up through PS2 haven't tried Dreamcast or Game Cube.

My RG34XX as it's the only handheld I have, only emulate GB/GBC/GBA/GG/NGP/NGPC/WS/WSC on it and I love it.

I have a New 3DS LL in my drawer that I need to stop slacking on and hack. Been collecting dust for over a year. Also got a DSi XL that I'm waiting on a rasberry pi cart I ordered to show up before I really start messing with it. I am currently most excited for the Retroid Pocket 6 that I ordered and waiting for that to arrive from China so who knows when that will show up.

Is N3DS retro enough? I want you to know that yes, you CAN get burn-in! Whether or not it's temporary remains to be seen and I'm not looking forward to spending literally tree fiddy to replace it. Don't run H-Shop for days on end. Install your games one at a time as tedious as it sounds.

I just download them to my PC with full speed downloads and put them onto the sd card. I thought everyone did the same?

No way, it came out like 13 years ago didnt it? Please someone say its not retro and im not that old.

Whelp, upgraded my very worn out Bittboy Pocket Go for an Ambernic RG28XX and it's quite impressive
(not to mention absolutely LOADED with games). If I had one complaint is that you have to manually add NES and Gameboy titles yourself (which is kind of what I bought it for to begin with)

Installing them manually from .cia files requires a lot of SD card space. Like twice as much than if you're just leeching them from Ghostshop, H-shop, Freeshop, or whatever.

I can second the RG28XX. It's a small form factor, just large enough to be comfortable, but easily pocket-able. I swapped to MINUI for the firmware and only put one game per system; a "Five Game Handheld" ala Retro Game Corps.

Pros: Affordable, portable, headphone jack, powerful enough for most retro consoles
Cons: No Wi-Fi, flashing firmware is tricky, crummy speaker

You can close the lid and it will shut the screens off. The downloader will stop the console from going into sleep mode.

On the 3ds again, I bought a faulty New 3DS XL that had the popping issue. There’s a friction mark on the camera flex cable where it rests on the inner metal hoop inside the hinge. I’m hoping covering that exposed part with something robust will fix it, otherwise I’m opening this up again. I get it, Nintendo chose the cheapest option when solving this cable through the hinge thing but I don’t caaaaaare, fu person who did the final design.

As an update to that: The damage was temporary. It faded after about a day or two.
