Retro Handhelds General Thread

I have an Anbernic RG40XXH and it's a solid option. But there is an important caveat: the hardware from the device has been upgraded since the first models hit shelves, and in more recent ones there are important software issues. In my case, to turn it on I have to plug it in to a power socket and the battery drains fast when turned off (four/five days for the battery to be completely drained from 100%).

This happens with both stock OS and Knulli Gladiator II. Still haven't tried MustardOS.

I have hope with the new Batocera released a few weeks ago, the Knulli developers will revisit their OS.

Apart from that, it's a very solid device.
Scratch that, the battery is already losing capacity. Still I like the device. Going to into getting a better battery.

One of the first consoles I owned was a knockoff psp with a bunch of roms my Mum stuck on it (I believe it was mainly gba games), she got one each for me and my siblings. I actually tried restoring mine a couple months back, didn’t work but I tried ::sailor-embarrassed

Then my family was really into the ds, there’s still ds parts laying around from when my Mum would repair or restore them. I got my 2ds a couple years after that, which I still have.

I mainly use one of my Mum’s old PSP’s, and helped her mod the other one for her own use. It’s really nice to have on long rides.

Any recommendations on one under $100 with WIFI, Bluetooth, twin analog sticks, L1/L2/R1/R2 buttons, and PortMaster support that can run Saturn and PSP decently and fit in one's pocket?
Since you're already rockin' a ROG Ally, you might want to loosen some of your requirements. Your biggest hurdles are Portmaster and Saturn support. I would have expected the Trimui Smart Pro S to cover your needs by now but for some reason CFW development for it has been very slow. And keep in mind Saturn emulation is heavily game-dependent.
