I first went with Retroid Pocket 2+ as well, and enjoyed any PSP games I can put into it so far. Was saddened when my experience with PS2 and GameCube emulators on it were below acceptable for me, so I gave up trying those on it.

Because of that, I tempted myself to pick up this AYN Loki MAX for those PS2/GameCube gaming urges, even though I can get the same experience with a laptop. I just couldn't help myself with the more portable experience really. This was also my alternative to the Steam Deck, when it wasn't easily available for purchase in Australia. So since it was a Windows console, I can also play any PC game I want as well.

Sadly, my impulse buying didn't stop there, and I wanted the vertical nostalgia I got from the Gameboy days, and picked up the Miyoo Mini+. GBA games pop out of the screen much nicer on this, and my hand is big enough that I can play on this with one hand, if I wanted to.

I used to play on my Anbernic RG351MP. Honestly, the only thing about it that I disliked was the screen size, but otherwise it was so good. It brought me back to playing on my Gameboy Advance as a kid.

I recently upgraded to a Steam Deck for emulation and integration with my Steam library, and I'm really not a fan of the Deck's super loose dpad. The sticks also make my thumbs numb or something. There's a huge concave dip in the center of the sticks and the outside of them are really kind of sharp. The sensation is not comfortable to me at all.

I ordered the dbrand Killswitch and thumbstick covers, will arrive hopefully within the next few weeks. Stuck at customs right now I guess. Those are honestly the only complaints about it that I have, though. Otherwise it's genuinely the best game related purchase I've probably ever made.

I don't have anyone who would actually appreciate the RG351MP in my real-life friend group or even in my online friend group. If anyone wants this thing, it's still in great shape and I've got a huge selection of ROMs with 351ELEC installed. I'd be willing to trade it or sell for super cheap.

Been having a lovely time with the Retroid Pocket 2S. Nice and small, strong enough to have decent performance for GCN/PS2 games and run good CRT filters. Definitely recommend this one if you want a horizontal handheld and don’t need all the bells and whistles that tend to come with making devices bigger.

I actually have a RP2S, it's a solid little device. Though I did end up upgrading to other handhelds over the years, and now it's just in a place where I don't use it.

For smaller older retro games, I usually just use my Anbernic RG34XX, which I take out with me. And then when I want to play PS2, GC, Wii, PSP, I'll use my Odin 2 Mini.

i use the steam deck for more modern things!

That's great! I've recently bought the miyoo mini plus for like 53 bucks on amazon and I was enjoying it every single time. I've installed union os with the sandisk extreme sd card I bought from bestbuy and I was enjoying it alot. I've beated mega man 2 gbc edition patch yesterday.

So I've got 4 retro handhelds and I was enjoying them alot lately. The R36S I got last year, the anbernic rg cube and the rg35xx sp I've bought 2 months ago, and now I have the miyoo mini plus around nearly a month ago. I was playing some Chrono Trigger retranslation hack, Tetris DX, Mario Kart Super Circuit Freemastered hack all into one of these handhelds. I was playing some gamecube games like Mario Kart Double Dash and Wario world and a ps2 game called Ace Combat 4 - Shattered Skies on my rg cube. I've bought these since I wanna use them on the go without needing to carry my 3ds or my steam deck around. That really changed my life and I'm glad I made that decision.

My rule was to never spend more than 50€ in a retro console. That amount was cut down to 30€ recently.
With this, I've bought amazing devices, such as:

My favourite is the Dingoo A320, which I bought in 2009, and recently the SF2000. I still need to try out the R36H, but it looks amazing :)

I've bought so many of these damn things and barely end up using them. Of the six or so that I own the only one I really ever use is the TrimUI Smart Pro. It's the form factor that does it for me. I've taken it on a few vacations and it's great for watching a movie on a train, playing a few hours of PS1 games when winding down on an evening, stuff like that.

The only things that keep it from being my perfect device, which is why I've bought a few more after it, is the amount of heat feels quite unsettling depending on the games being played (like it starts cooking itself playing Genesis for some reason) and the audio has strange issues with clicking and popping when there's no sounds being played.

Trimui Smart Pro is one of the consoles I wanted to buy if it were a little bit smaller. Everytime I try to use Odroid Go Ultra I feel like I am holding a giant and I don't like it. That's why I am so excited about the recent news of the Trimui Smart Pro Mini :D. I wish they would use a little more powerful SoC this time, but I really don't care that much as long as the screen is aroun 4", which is the perfect size for me.

they are on sale atm so it makes up for the bad exchange rate

If anyone has any questions regarding the Retroid Pocket Mini I can answer them. It's been a wonderful device so far; but it's compatibility in some games is a bit weird. Like SSX Tricky on Dolphin and SF3 3rd Strike on Flycast.

Everything else so far has been a smooth experience.

If you have an microSD on your RP, be sure to install your apps on the device instead of the microSD, I ran into some weird issues launching Mupen and Aether if they weren't installed in the device.

I recently got an RG CubeXX and a Retroid Pocket 5. I initially only played some GBA on the CubeXX but the RP5 has really impressed me and I am only now beginning to explore it's PS2 and GC capabilities. Really impressed, though, at the moment.

I think it will suffice for now and if I want to get another handheld it will probably be an Odin or Steam Deck.

At the beginning of the month I got the R32S and I'm so happy with it.
I know it's not that powerful, so PS2, Dreamcast and GC are out of its range, but still.
I've never played turbograffx CD games and now I'm having a blast. Really recomend it.

Even without those three consoles you’re basically set for life. I grabbed some TGCD RPGs for mine. Haven’t dug in yet but I will soon!

The 557 is one i want my v90 sd card isnt working right but im sure i can get a replacement just fired up my RG353V it handles pretty well for SHMUPs
