Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake

They could've learned sooner honestly.
Yeah, you can stop doing that. I already saw your link the first time, but from different people years ago. I learned to move on and just have fun like I already did. I still come back to RE3R, after finishing RE2R, and still have a blast. No regrets and no worries.

I know man, but, it's baffling that these days i'm more excited about indie games and fan projects like the one that i just posted, than actual AAA releases these days, and in the regard of remakes is the same, don't be just shaped with a "just great" when they are capable of giving us something amazing, i love these franchises, hell, we all do, and what i just want if that's possible it's that the reiterations of these great games do justice to the source material they are trying to...

Remake ::warcraft-skeleton (yeah it's a joke i know)

And we passionate fans should stand by this principle, the same way we stand united for the archivation of these works of code and visual spectacle that are videogames.

Everyone is different, but it really wasn't that jarring for me. I was sick and tired of tired of AAA'S bullshit since late 7th generation. Mainly from the western side, but the japanese still screwed up on their own ends depending on you're talking about. They actually bothered to do better. Most of them that is on the Japanese side. With that said, my main focus went straight to indie, AA, and niche action games.

Like I said before, I make no excuses for cut content or when there is a really big mess up. Yet, at the same time, I don't throw myself with overly wild nor unrealistic expectations. Also of a developer, least tries to make up for their mistakes.In the next installment, or whatever I tend to be a bit more forgiving, depending on what it is. Not all the time, but even then, I still move on to better things or focus on something more important. I don't let it consume me nor be my personality.

Resident Evil 4 remake turned a great game into a mid game. So I think it's fair to assume that this code Veronica remake will turn a mid game into a bad game

For pre-text I want to make it clear that I have no interest in these RE Remakes, I have no passing interest in their hype nor do I intend to play them in the future.

That said, everyone is free to like what they like.

With that out of the way I want to ask;
For those who didn't like the original, why would you be excited for the remake?

I enjoyed the original RE1-3 and was disappointed with how different the remakes were.
So my point is, if the original was not to your liking then why are you invested in the remake?
Do you just want a different kind of game but still follows the same thread or story structure?

People that want to fit in the trends or want to reclaim their "true fan" badge without any kind of effort to the thing they supposedly like, they just want to play the game, enjoy most of it, make a reaction to it, and be done with it, well, let me put an example:
I've played OG 1, 2, 3 and 4, at least 4 times already, i only played 1 and 2 remakes because i think those feel the most like a new experience but with the same principle as the originals, 4 remake just felt alien to me, but the diference is, the OG's gave me quite the great first impression when i played them for first time years ago, same with 1 remake, like, they had this Evil Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead kind of vibe that made them feel unique in each game, 2 for me felt truly like an horror and action movie at the same time, and 2 remake was the same but more gritty, which i don't think was bad, and great during all of it, even if i missed the scenario dynamic.

I've played every resident evil except the Ethan ones. I mean every one. Like Dead Aim and Operation Raccoon City. I'll buy this one too. I really should play through 7 and 8 but I just haven't been able to get into 7. Still bought 8 lol. Played merc mode on that one.
I got two different copies of ps1 re1 because of the soundtrack difference.
Outbreak is probably my favorite

I've always found CV to be pretty well-balanced, and I'm genuinely curious to see how this remake turns out. I really want to see how they rework the fights, but especially the dialogue, which was already pretty much perfect in the original game. I always fondly remember right after the fight with Nosferatu/Alexander, when Claire asks Steve if he's doing okay... meanwhile, the poor guy was literally hanging over the edge for the entire duration of the battle! I'm posting a short clip of my gameplay from the PS2 version here.
