How do you all like Daniel Garcia from AEW??
Same same. All good memories. We got both bootista and even bluetista out of it.I kind of miss unpredictability in wrestling. 2014 was amazing because WWE ended up in an unexpected war with the fans who rebelled against the people the company was pushing to get behind Daniel Bryan. Some of the most exciting moments in wrestling are things that weren't planned. Watching Triple H do a promo as the crowd basically tells him, "we don't give a fuck" was amazing
or Batista returning to WWE to win the Rumble and getting booed out of the building
He was alright. A little straight-laced and boring for me when I was watching, but that dancing gimmick was a bit fun.How do you all like Daniel Garcia from AEW??

Far as I'm concerned, Dom has been the best thing going in WWE since around Mania 39. When he was "Ex-con Dom" and had the police escort for his match against Rey. He has been too good, on screen, for Liv Morgan for a while nowMan, Dominik Mysterio used to get the loudest boos in WWE, and maybe all of professional wrestling. They HATED him. The guy couldn't cut a promo because the crowds booed so loud he couldn't even get a word in. I literally watched him give up on promos or literally scream out every word at the top of his lungs to be heard over the crowds. Now, he's out there getting cheered by the crowds and his opponents are the ones getting booed. He hasn't changed a bit, he's still a heel, but now he has that Eddie Guerrero energy. He's lying, cheating, and stealing and the people love him for it.

I wonder how Liv Morgan will fit in when she returns as his onscreen, heel girlfriend now that he's popular

In her defence, the last thing I actually saw Liv do was getting squashed as champion by Rhonda Rousey. She probably is great, but booking like that doesn't leave a great impressionI think Liv has improved a lot as a performer since they started having her be involved in Dom's storylines. She really came into her own as a heel and has gotten really good in the ring too. Though admittedly I also like Liv for...other reasons

I think AEW tries to make a new Daniel Bryan out of him. Who knows, I'm curious to see how it will go with him.He was alright. A little straight-laced and boring for me when I was watching, but that dancing gimmick was a bit fun.

I havent even brought myself to watch highlights. That's what we all thought, but then they weirdly shifted over to Wheeler Yuta.I think AEW tries to make a new Daniel Bryan out of him. Who knows, I'm curious to see how it will go with him.
I find it easier to talk about wrestling than to actually watch it these days i will keep you guys entertained.Honestly it’s pretty darn sweet this thread so close to 300 replies already.

Wait, Jurassic Express are back? This weeks AEW looks stacked so i wonder if NXT will also be stacked.

Yeah, despite my curmudgeon-y nature towards wrestling these days, it's still cool to see people interested in itHonestly it’s pretty darn sweet this thread so close to 300 replies already.

Same yeah. I like learning about it and talking about it more than I do staying up till 3 am to watch 3 hours of a mod soap opera only to have to go to work soon after cuz my shift starts at 6 am.Wait, Jurassic Express are back?

I adore this (and I think it’s on-topic actually don’t worry cuz Japan is a lot more acquainted with its wrestling)A fun wrestling-related gag in a non-wrestling manga I've been reading called Joshiraku

And just so I'm not completely off-topic on the rasslin' thread:
Did anyone else know there was an official Tetsuya Naito manga?

If I needed another reason to check out Hundred Line Academy sometime, then I guess I have it heheI adore this (and I think it’s on-topic actually don’t worry cuz Japan is a lot more acquainted with its wrestling)
compared to western media anyways, which would solely only reference the golden age and attitude era.
I would know, I played a hundred line recently, it’s an SRPG/VN hybrid, has a character named Moko, who makes varied Japanese references while her western wrestling references are a bit more skewed (though i do vaguely remember at least one reference to the ruthless aggression which is nice)

She definitely seems to have kept active. I'd wager she was probably getting ready for a little while before she came back for that recent tag match.ps: aj lee still looks fine, in her late 30s, and its good to see her back in action
Yeah it fits that AJ is Vegeta's sister.![]()
