Love the IIconics/the IInspiration. Their 2021 TNA theme was my introduction to Harley Cameron too. I don't need it per se, but it could be cool to see them have a little trios run somewhere/sometime.

1999 is my favourite era of nitro. I didnt have the channel to watch raw till late 1999 so had to make do with wwf superstars and livewire.

AEW Title Tuesday was a slog to get through, and I was watching it mostly commercial free. I did enjoy Cassidy vs Pac though, I could watch those two wrestle forever. I never really liked Darby Allen. I thought the only thing cool about him was being Sting's sidekick, but this crazy, unhinged, arsonist version of him is kind of fun. The Samoa Joe/Hangman segment to start the show was pretty good. Samoa Joe has legit main eventer energy and is a good opponent for Hangman. Overall, NXT was the better watch this week. Frankly, even with its many flaws WWE puts out a better product than AEW. The only time AEW is worth talking about is when they have a pay per view. WWE is better week to week, especially NXT.

AEW is such a mixed bag for me because they have a lot of people I just don't care about. FTR, Kyle Fletcher, Brodie King, Eddie Kingston (fat, slob), Toni Storm (stupid jobber gimmick that shouldn't be the top woman in the division), Don Callis (The poor man's Paul Heyman), Kris Statlander (about as bland and boring as you can be), random luchadors no one gives a fuck about because they are not Fenyx, Penta, or someone with Mysterio for a last name, Mercedes Mone (whose stock has dropped dramatically since leaving WWE), Megan Bayne, Kyle O'Reilly, Adam Cole, Thekla, Julia Hart (her and Brodie are nothing without Malakai and the House of Black gimmick), Sky Blue, 90% of the women's division (I don't care what anyone says AEW's women's division is in the gutter right now and has almost no stars), Roderick Strong, Jon Moxley (please retire) and every member of the Death Riders not named Pac...

Channel changing trash.

On the other hand though we also have Hangman Page, Samoa Joe, Harley Cameron, Pac, Orange Cassidy, Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, Tomohiro Ishi, Katsuyori Shibata, Will Ospreay, Crazy arsonist Darby Allen, Jungle Boy, Mark Brisco, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, Christian, Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes (the better of the two brothers), The Hurt Syndicate, MJF, Britt Baker (assuming we ever see her again), Hikaru Shida, Adam Copeland...

Must see stars.

PRO WRESTLING IS ABOUT STARS

If AEW trimmed half of the roster their product would be amazing.

This may be a bold claim but I think WWE fans in 2025 are the worst ones in the company's history. A guy could take a dump in the ring and these live crowds would do a "This is awesome!" chant.

TNA bound for glory is October 12th ill put that on monday then my friend who loved wrestling passed away in october 1999 i feel he would love this table match.
Oh wow this is a huge throwback. Sorry about your friend though.

I wish the Hardies/Dudleys match was a four way involving Edge/Christian and The Young Bucks. Then we could really determine who is the GOAT tag team of the past few decades.

I'm not personally bothered by what companies book which matches, but I feel like the general wrestling internet would have a meltdown if the Bucks were put in a multi-team TLC match with the Hardys, Dudleys and E&C. I like the Bucks, for the record :loldog

Lazy laveck is gonna have to choose politics or wwe
Do you honestly believe that? He doesn't care and he has no reason to.

WWE has no politics, they have done things that have pissed off both sides of the political aisle. They just care about money.

Something needs to change the HHH era is really bad either way. His heart isnt in it.

I found crown jewel to be watchable all the usual commenters are panning it.
Cena V AJ was full of funny spots and seemed to be fan friendly. I have high
hopes for survivor series and the tribute music for ozzy should be a good 1.

I actually prefer the shorter WWE shows to the endless AEW shows. AEW takes the whole "we're a WRESTLING company" thing a little too far. We don't need fifty matches that are each a half hour long.

I got all of the winners I wanted. Stephanie Vaquer (who would be a nobody at this point in time if she had gone to AEW), Seth Rollins (not a huge Seth fan but I get sick of seeing Super Cody win everything), Rhea/Iyo (though I would have been okay with Asuka/Kairi winning too), Bronson Reed (I like Roman, but this victory does a lot more for Bronson Reed) and Cena winning makes sense even though I was rooting for AJ Styles.

WWE pay per views are not must see events anymore, but they are easily digestible if you're just bored on a weekend or if you're doing housework like I was and just need some background noise. AEW pay per views put me to sleep. Half of the matches are meaningless and the shows are just too long.

I'd give Crown Jewel a C. It was watchable but I don't think anyone needs to go out of their way to see it, like most WWE pay per views these days. That coast to coast diving headbutt by Seth Rollins was wild though.

WWE is coasting right now and I can't even blame them. They have arenas full of sheep who pour money into the company and cheer for literally anything. Why should WWE put in any extra effort when their fans have such low standards?

Yeah, might as well watch them if you already have a Netflix subscription. As for me:

I used to use watch wrestling myself so i get it. used to have an android box in the 2010s and a sub that would add raw and smackdown on demand they were good times.

Some positives:

Stephanie Vaquer legitimately looks like she's living out a childhood dream. She has a great look, great presence, and emotional reactions that seem genuine. Her winning was probably the highlight of the show for me. She looks like a star and is being booked like one. In AEW she would have been jobbed out to Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone, then sent over to Ring of Honor to be forgotten about. Going to WWE was the smartest decision of her career.

I am kind of invested in the storyline of Damage Control falling apart. Though I kind of wish we could see some sort of reaction to it from Bayley. I hate how it's been forgotten that she brought them all together and I also miss Dakota Kai. That said, I enjoy anything involving Iyo, Asuka, and Kairi and I think Iyo and Rhea Ripley have good chemistry.

What they're doing with Roman and Jey Uso is kind of interesting. I still get invested in OG Bloodline storylines, but I don't care at all about the knockoff, bargain brand Bloodline on Smackdown led by Solo Sikoa.

Paul Heyman looks like a joke now the peak of his management skills definitely passed when he left roman reigns. And roman is getting booked like a fool.

I was not a fan of this group but somehow I don't understand why they are disbanding now🤔 I really think that Bron Breakker is the new Goldberg.

Finally watching this match

I wish I had more of a taste for WCW but I hated how poorly they treated the mid card guys and it just seemed to be largely about Hogan and his buddies
Discovered my app has ECW hardcore TV from 1996 was the first year of ECW i ever encountered on UK tv.
1996 is a really good year for the brand. Then afterwards they started ramping up the violence because they were trying to compete with WWF's Attitude era and it just turned me off tbh
