Ramadan Cooking

Altough during Ramdahan we tend to always have treats and stuff during the dinner in our country we have food and treats that you can only find during Ramdahan most of the time
By the way, which foods are those you can only find during Ramadan?

Well it's not like you will not find it outside of Ramdahan but in Ramdahan it gets very popular and everywhere
Here Magrouth/Asmar you won't Easly find these unless you visit shops that specializes in it but in Ramdahan you can find this everywhere, this is the default one and it has a lot of variants that you will probably only found sold in ramdhan

There also Brika this food is not hard to make but people will not cook this in normal days like at all which is why you can't find the "thin tortilla" sold in stores but in Ramdahan it becomes a daily thing I dunno why tho

There is also a lot of other examples of good food that doesn't get the spotlight only in ramdhan but here is the two that I like very much

That looks delicious af man, good stuff

Not sweets but having some fried snacks for iftar is the best ?

Make sure to click the CC button
Simple veggies fritter

A more fancy version

Fried tofu with fillings is the best, the very old school version is simply using Beansprouts

This one can be tricky to made

Oh that's good, even with the curry. Thanks for sharing

Well I wouldn't call Peanut Sauce as curry but they do worked well with everything.
Meats, veggies, fruits, chips, they're good dip sauce in general.

I just realized that lmao, thanks for letting me know

Honestly, I just eat whatever my mom cooks. One day it could be bamye, the next day it could be a whole roasted chicken (with rice of course) and another day it could be something completely different.
I love bamye <3

Btw, here's a few tip to be pro at Ramadan
1. Read Quran
2. Drink a lot
3. EAT WHILE YOU STILL CANNNNNN

No no don't eat a lot before tarawih, you don't want all that food in you when you stand for like 1 and half hour .I'm speaking from experience
I mean like when Sahoor or Suhur lmao, of course you can't eat too much before any prayer or tarawih (I know the experience lol)

In the last few days during Sahoor and when breaking fast, I've eaten foods like sardines, omelettes (basic, soup and tomato ones), fried potatoes (cutted and mix with ketchup), chicken curry, vegetables (all kinds) and Roti Jala, one of my favorite foods

We had pita sandwiches with my husband’s recipe for chicken kebab patties (lots of methi i love that), a cool yogurt sauce with mint cucumber dill and lime juice, tomatos and salad greens. I can post his chicken kebab recipe later it’s one of my favorite foods. Hope you all had a lovely Sahoor

Tikka samosa for Pakistani Ramadan
Sofiyani biryani for Pakistani Ramadan
Sweet dates Sweet dried dates for ramadan date fruit stock pictures, royalty-free photos & images
Fruit chaat

Some of the main items that make up Ramadan Great where I'm from.
Also the forth image is a picture of a Fruit Chaat. (It's a mixture of multiple fruits dices and added spices and a small bit of sugar).
Rooh-Afza is a Popular drink here. It's a blend of Rose Flavored squash. (Not the best description) and it's the best alternative to any drink beside water.
