I married into a Muslim family and live in an area of the US with a large Muslim population, so I’ve grown to love learning about and celebrating Ramadan and Eid with my community. A plaza near us almost entirely filled with Muslim-owned restaurants and markets has “Sahoor Nights” that’s PACKED every evening, and we end up going across town to visit family more often.
I never converted to practicing Islam but it’s been so great to be enthusiastically included in all the celebration with my family sort of how my husband started to get really excited for Christmas every year lol.
???
Oh that's SO wholesome! It makes me happy seeing all kinds of people just enjoy any kind of celebration. I'd love to celebrate with you guys, Ramadhan Mubarak to all of you!Ramadan Mubarak everyone!

True that, this is one of the most peaceful forum so far. Anyway, Ramadan Mubarak to you, your family and friends! May y'all be blessed with great health and wellbeingIt’s a good sign for this forum that a thread about Ramadan can just peacefully exist here.
I’m neither Muslim nor from the middle-east but my city has a sizeable Muslim minority, predominantly from Syria and Afghanistan, so I‘ve met and made friends with a lot of people from there and get to sample their delicious food.
