And then in business and stuff they use Windows, and rich people uses an Apple for personal use lol. They're both decent depending what you use them for. I think Windows is better for personal use, while Macintosh is better for business structure and commercial planning.
Well, there's still plenty of other options available, but most people don't want to put in the 5 minutes of effort to learn a new operating system. And then in business and stuff they use Windows, and rich people uses an Apple for personal use lol.
For many companies Windows is world-standard in business for many reasons and it start with its cheaper price, common in what people know to use, how whole related education system focuses on how to use a Windows, most of common programs to do tons of stuff on Windows, et cetera.
And then rich people and rich companies, especially the companies in creative industries using an Apple for many reasons. They have iPhone, iPads, Apple Watch, iSmack, iBrain, et cetera lol they constantly use together for personal and business reasons yet compared to Windows users they are very less.

Think this sum's it upThey are both terrible in their own ways.
Microsoft makes it so programs designed for older versions of Windows choke on Mustard Gas and it's generally hostile towards the user.
Mac... Well, you have to make a lot of investments to get a computer that will get obsolete fast anyway.
XP was until I actually had to get 7 for various reasons. 7 turned out to be a really good OSI'm a Apple hater, so I voted Mac.
Unfortunetly Windows is also trash even though I know I lack the technical knowledge to pinpoint whats wrong. I'm mainly a consumer and, as a consumer, I think Win 11 is a downgrade from Win 10. But again, my favorite OS was Windows XP, so take it as you will.
You honestly don't need a PhD to set up Linux. Hell, even Arch (by the way) isn't a draconian process anymore. Take Linux Mint for example. If you can read and follow basic instructions, you can have it up and running (depending on hardware) in about 15-20 minutes and fully set up in a day's time. What I abhor with modern OS is they shoving "features" nobody asked for, craming AI everywhere and over connectivity. I just wanted a machine to have my music, anime, play games, browse the internet and basic office stuff without having to be a PhD in computer science to set up a Linux.
While the Tumblr days were fun, I would've preferred emulating games instead of being stuck with an overpriced computer my dad got from the pawn shop. (I hope this didn't sound ungrateful lmao)
Quick question, what’s the best Linux os for beginners? You honestly don't need a PhD to set up Linux. Hell, even Arch (by the way) isn't a draconian process anymore. Take Linux Mint for example. I would say Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and Zorin. They are about as close to Windows as you can get, user friendly wise, or at least I think they are. To install them, it's honestly about like installing Windows 10, I think ease wise mind you....Quick question, what’s the best Linux os for beginners?
