It depends on what you looking for:

Price point: Windows win because it is cheaper to get a Windows PC.

Gaming: Windows win because the whole video game industry focuses on Windows and vice versa.

Creative professional works: Apple wins because the whole creative industry focuses on Apple and vice versa. You can get a cheaper Apple PC that works better compared to a Windows PC compared to this. Some may say "Windows good too" then Apple is good for gaming too because this logic has such a ratio here.

Security: Apple wins. Tons of shit uses Windows and it is very popular so more oppurtinities for hackers to exploit and wreck way more computers.

Versatility of use: Apple wins. Use Apple devices between each other way better than Windows can.

Ease of usage: Apple wins because Windows doesn't care about ease of usage. You sit in front of it and gotta fine-tune that shit to adjust it for your usage while Apple does what is common sense that Microsoft should learn. Not to mention variety of hardware in Windows computer calls for different settings, different ways of usage and different ways of troubleshooting are all very minimized on Apple.

Problems: Apple wins. In comparison Windows has always been problematic, in which only XP being a decent OS among Windows family.

I voted Windows, but to be honest, both are horrid. In a perfect world, gamers would be running a desktop Steam OS, or some version of linux with Proton doing its thing. But we aren't there. Yet.

You have Windows which is in bed with the CIA and funneling your info directly to uncle sam.

Then you have Apple, which does the same thing, but demands huge amounts of money and hand greasing from the CIA until they give it up.

It's your choice what poison you want to ingest. But if you held a gun to my forehead and demanded I pick Windows or Mac OS and those were my only choices, I'd pick the latter simply because it wasn't touched by Microsoft.

For many companies Windows is world-standard in business for many reasons and it start with its cheaper price, common in what people know to use, how whole related education system focuses on how to use a Windows, most of common programs to do tons of stuff on Windows, et cetera.

And then rich people and rich companies, especially the companies in creative industries using an Apple for many reasons. They have iPhone, iPads, Apple Watch, iSmack, iBrain, et cetera lol they constantly use together for personal and business reasons yet compared to Windows users they are very less.

I can't chim in on Mac as I have never even been in the same room with a Mac....

The closest Apple thing I have is an iPod I got from a thrift shop, and I ninja kicked the Apple OS off it and replaced it with Rockbox. That aside, as stated both from what I understand about Macs and from knowing Windows pretty well, I would still say Windows is the worst. Again, it's already been said, but they steal your info, store it, and probably pipeline it off to the FBI and CIA. I don't know how valid that is, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I've mentioned in other threads that if it wasn't work related, I wouldn't have a Windows machine period, but that's life. However, Linux is no walk in the park. Yes... even the simplest Linux has a learning curve, but you have to remember, Windows had one as well, same with mac. You didn't just plop down and insta-know how to use Windows as well as you do now. Windows is absolute trash, so is Mac... again, from what I have gleaned from seeing it via YouTube, reading about it, etc.

Linux isn't the monster under your bed or in your closet like it once was. It's just as simple to set up and use Linux for almost anything you can do on Windows now compared to five years ago.

But this isn't a Linux thread. Windows is just an awful bloated corpse of what it once was.
The last time Windows was any good and actually user-friendly and worth a damn was during the XP/7 era.

I'm a Apple hater, so I voted Mac.

Unfortunetly Windows is also trash even though I know I lack the technical knowledge to pinpoint whats wrong. I'm mainly a consumer and, as a consumer, I think Win 11 is a downgrade from Win 10. But again, my favorite OS was Windows XP, so take it as you will.

What I abhor with modern OS is they shoving "features" nobody asked for, craming AI everywhere and over connectivity. I just wanted a machine to have my music, anime, play games, browse the internet and basic office stuff without having to be a PhD in computer science to set up a Linux.

I would recomend to use Linux over both of them,but only if you know what you are doing otherwise I am not certain if Mac or Windows is worse as both are less than optimal but I suppose I would pick Windows over Mac mostly because I am used to it and for gaming.
