Bomber (Fun, but it's basically just a slightly more BS version of Tsu rules), Searchlight (Kinda eh?), and Underwater (Unironically might be the worst thing put in a Puyo game). There's a couple of other modes that seem like they were cut too, but they're actually just hidden unlocks you can get through the game's hint system.

I personally prefer 15th because it has a better roster, artstyle, and music in my book. Also, I like the weird changes they made to Fever mode in it, lol.
Eh sounds like I'm ain't missing much then ...

Which ones got removed?

I don't remember, it's been a long time but a lot of them, you can look it up, this is why I was disappointed as 20th Anniversary, to me, felt like a downgrade in some ways.

Edit: I should also mention Flip mode, forgot that from the previous list, really this game has so much variety, it's a shame SEGA, never localized it or brought them back.

Truthfully I've not played Chronicle, been wanting to play it since it released but it took a while before it received an English patch and when I hacked my 3DS I installed it but still have not got around playing it, it's been five years...

Regarding the other two, 20th Anniversary is SEGA's attempt at 15th Anniversary 2, imo it's not as good but I know people who prefer it, highlight is they brought back Sun mode from Puyo Puyo San (Puyo Puyo 3) but they took away most of the modes from 15th Anniversary, it also forces widescreen on Wii which I remember distinctly because back then I still used a CRT TV, it also has a shop system so when you use the "unlock everything" cheat code it does not auto-buy everything but it gives you lots of money in the shop and you can use the cheat code a few times to buy everything, truthfully I played this game less than I played Puyo Puyo 7, 15th Anniversary and Puyo Puyo Tetris.

Which brings me to Puyo Puyo Tetris, this game I actually first played on PS3 in 2014 several years before it received an official English localization, I have a lot to talk about this one, positive and negative, but overall it is my personal second favorite entry, I really like Puyo Puyo Tetris, truthfully I have not played the sequel much as I got my fill playing the first on a multitude of systems, PS3, PS4, Switch, PS Vita, and a little bit on 3DS and Wii U, I should get back and finish Puyo Puyo Tetris 2.

Thank you, sorry for making you type a bunch.

Any thoughts on 20th, Chronicle and Puyo Puyo x Tetris?

Then I choose this, I will vote Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary every time, first off the setting for the story is really appealing, giving each character a short story of wanting to win to have one wish, making it short and replayable.

But more importantly, there are so many different game styles which you rotate a roulette at the beginning of each round to select, several are exclusive to this game like Star mode, Ice mode, Water mode, Bomb mode, Lights out mode, Big mode, Endless Fever mode, Regular Fever mode, Quest mode, and even modes for Puyo Puyo 1 and Puyo Puyo Tsu rules, SEGA can make a hundred Puyo Puyo and I will always go back to 15th Anniversary.

Back then all Puyo Puyo games shared the same cheat code that lets you unlock everything right from the title screen and it's the same in every game on every system (except on Wii) from DS to PSP to Wii U to PS3 to PS Vita to PS2 to Switch to PS4 they all used the same cheat code.

There are so many I honestly lost track. It would be nice to have a short list of the best versions for each entry somewhere.

Awesome, my favorite Puyo game now has a translation on my preferred platform to play it on! Now we just need a translation for the Wii version of 20th and every Wii Puyo game will be accounted for.

Is this an updated version or the same exact version we had three days ago? Cause I already downloaded it before and converted it to Wii U and I don't wanna go through the process of converting it again, create banners, uninstall the first version and install this if it's exactly the same.
This is an updated version.

Will release on the 15th officially (author's request). Sorry.

I just converted this and installed it on my Wii U as Wii VC it works great with gamepad support.

Puyo Puyo (PC Engine CD) my favorite version
Puyo Puyo Tsu (PC Engine CD) same as above
Puyo Puyon (Puyo Puyo 4) (PS1)
Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary (PS2)
Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary (PSP)
Puyo Puyo Fever 2 (PSP)
Puyo Puyo Fever 2 (DS)
Puyo Puyo 7 (PSP)
Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversay (3DS) (I forgot if we got this or not)
Puyo Puyo Tetris (Wii U)

I never played Puyo Puyo Fever 2 because the only translation we have is for PS2 and up until few months ago I had no way to play PS2.
The 3ds version of 20th anniversary does have an English fan translation patch: https://precisemuseum.com/puyo-puyo...d-patch-for-nds-3ds-and-psp-is-available-now/

Did this just got leaked or something? The version made by Suzuran Library is supposed to release in five days

Thank you love more wii games!
