PS3 PS3 Backup Fails with Error 80010006 Stuck on 'Preparing' Even with Properly Formatted USBs

for some god awful reason its not letting me backup my ps3 with the 2 usb's i have. yes they are formatted the way they are supposed to be. whenever i try to back it up i always get stuck on the "preparing please wait". but whenever i enable hen, it lets me go into the actual backing up process before throwing an error code at me

Do you all have any idea's what the problem would be?
