Pixel Trivia!

THAT'S SCHOOL DAZE (or Back to Skool, they both look very similar), BABY!!!! I know my Speccy like no-one else! (Actually, I've just seen a lot of Ashens videos, but who's counting?)
It is Back to Skool. I know School Daze is better know so I went with that to throw people off but you caught it.

Your turn.

Yesss! I saw footage of Back to Skool in an early Barshens video – I knew that knowledge would come in handy!

Next up, try this one on for size:
Quaker Oats – It's the Right Thing to Do™.png

Aside from adding in two images of Wilford Brimley to cover identifying information, I have not edited this screenshot in any way. As always, it's an officially-released game, and I'll provide a hint at 24 hours/solution at 48.

One more guess. Home Alone 2 on NES(30% more pigeons edition)?
NEIN!!!!! But none of these are bad guesses.

Sheesh, only two guesses? I’ll take that as being because I chose a really excellent, hard-to-find game, and not because everyone hates my guts. YOUR HINTS, AS PROMISED:
  • Medisinn was right in thinking that’s it’s a licensed game — specially, one based on a TV and/or movie series.
  • It’s not on a Nintendo console.
  • The property that it’s based on, and the game itself, have a light sci-fi theme.
  • And finally, there’s a clue somewhere in the top half of that screenshot which should tip you off to the IP’s main character.
That should make it easy. See you in 24 hours!

Correct-a-Mundo!!! It was the hit Sega adaptation of everyone’s favourite Melmacian malcontent. Ha! I kill me.

Your turn, Pikachun! I’m off for a triple cat-burger — hold the tail! ?????????????????

He-he :loldog
Thank you :)
Let's try this ::megadancebaby

Argh, the kids (?) on both sides look so familiar...

I think you're onto something... ::thinking

Interestingly, that's in the repo, and while the US version is called "Super Ninja Boy" (Japanese concept), the original Japanese version was called Super Chinese World ::huhsonic

I don't think that's the right title, but probably the right series. There's a different game on the NES, though these graphics make me think it's an arcade game. Huh, that's interesting, cultural differences I suppose. Though "Super Chinese World" makes it sound like a ripoff of Super Mario World, and it isn't really from what I played.

I've cropped the rest of the image out, I'll restore it if it ends up stumping folks.

I am totally stumped. Since there have been no other guesses, could I get a hint as to what system the game is on? Methinks it's PS1 but that could of course be wrong.

Is it something like Dwarf Fortress? Or one of the Harvest Moon games?
