The distinct lack of manners these days. As a kid I was always taught to speak when spoken to, hold doors open for others, eat with a napkin, etc. Seems like it's a lost art these days.
I swear even just the amount of people I see at a restaurant with their face in their phones while their friends are trying to conversate just irks me.

The overuse of mobile tech is creating a generation of zombies. I'm not saying we should live like Mormons, but people have never been as stuck into their own bubbles as they are now, and it won't get better.I swear even just the amount of people I see at a restaurant with their face in their phones while their friends are trying to conversate just irks me.
The same reason you have to pay to heat up your damn car. Because we let them. Why the fuck do printers have firmware updates now
don't feel sorry. I actually appreciate that you corrected me. I wouldn't have known that. Been wanting to take an English course lately as I feel my vocabulary has went down the toilet since High School.Converse*
Sorry. ^_^;
Yeah, I try not to look at my phone much when engaging in conversations; usually I only go on it if I was busy prior to their company, or if I'm trying to show them something on it.
Trying to break some of my friends of that habit too, but it's like trying to tear down a stone wall with nothing but a fingernail.
Until I force them out of their comfort zone and back into the real world against their will, kicking and screaming. The overuse of mobile tech is creating a generation of zombies. I was trying to help my Grandmother fix her printer recently and it took like 2 hours before I realized I had to update the printer. Why the fuck do printers have firmware updates now
Most of the time people get pissed off when I try to correct them; at least I'm not condescending about it. >_>don't feel sorry. I actually appreciate that you corrected me. Hah that will be interesting to see.Until I force them out of their comfort zone and back into the real world against their will, kicking and screaming.
It really doesn't take as much as I made it sound; a pretty girl could go up and kiss someone and that will pull them out of their game or whatever.Hah that will be interesting to see.

Reminds me of this
I'm wondering why it's a pet's peeve. I mean as long as view isn't obstructed.1. People wearing masks while alone in their cars.
I dislike how in workplaces the best workers are actually getting punished for being good by having to work for those working less. As if you should do the bare minimum.3. Stupidvisors telling me I need to work harder to make up for the lazy people. Yes, I said STUPIDvisors.
Wait, people still do that? When people use physical disabilities and mental illnesses as insults.
Sadly, yes.Wait, people still do that?
I also think that calling someone online an "idiot" is also a sign of losing the argument.Sadly, yes.
I left social media out of sheer disgust for the overuse of a certain "R" word.
Worse when the cutting happens too close to the wire of say headphones and you end with a plastic paperweightI detest this packaging, it's damn bulletproof and the plastic is so sharp it can give you a long cut!

Thank you @MistHunter! I really hope so...Don't feel sad, justlooking123.
wounds heal with the pass of time.
another different thing, is betraying them.
you are not losing them forever. there is always another chance, and then, you are reunited in a wink, one of those days...
because, you know... auto-correction is a calamity, these days. you are not guilty.
you are in your right, for expresing yourself.
I share your sentiment...When people use physical disabilities and mental illnesses as insults.
I couldn't have said it any better.I also think that calling someone online an "idiot" is also a sign of losing the argument.
Using ad hominems is just admitting defeat imo.
You can find something stupid (which is the action or an item, not a person) but calling someone name online when you're behind a screen with anonymity is a form of cowardice imo. Most wouldn't dare saying it irl.
