Hate was a bit of a strong word, the feeling is moreso bitter, but I don't dislike SEGA comepletely. It'd be nice if they gave more attention to their older IPs, whether it is through remakes/remasters or a new entry. At the end of the day, SEGA is a business and they'll gravitate to whatever works best for them, which is appealing to the modern audience. Maybe if Panzer Dragoon was to get a new entry with modern graphics and controls, it'd bring new fans, but I feel like the chances of that are impossible. Especially since it seems like current SEGA prefers to stick to modern setting.
On the bright side, I did find out there was a Panzer Dragoon Remake on Steam/Switch, with a physical version, released in 2020 by MegaPixel Studio S.A and published by their parent company, Forever Entertainment S.A. From what I've read, the differences aren't huge aside from modernized graphics and controls with the second game currently in development. I guess I spoke too soon, though the game's remaster being outsourced to a company that isn't well known caught me by a surprise.
