Forced Tutorials and text walls = hate.

It gets especially egregious when it is a series you like and you have to go through the same paces when starting fresh. I love Monster Hunter, but man, the first few gathering quests in every game are so menial that I die a little every time.

Duuuuude I bought a few games that looked awesome, especially combat wise, and when I started playing it turned out that's a roguelite...

I never looked at the tags before buying a game but now I do....

Little Noah Scion of Paradise is the last I bought before thinking "ok now I'll look at the tags"
I got interested by the FF/Bravely Default artstyle and I thought it was an action RPG.

Blazblue entropy (even though I ended up enjoying this one).

Dead Cells
Nah I'm just joking I know this one is a riguelite and I didn't buy it

Cult of the lamb, I love 2.5D like Grandia, Klonoa, Tomba, Dragon Quest 7, ps1 stuff where the backrounds are 3d and the characters and items are super detailed sprites make me crap like a brain damaged seal
