That's what i mean, it's ridiculous that stuff like that happens. Like not saying his name will erase anything that happened at the time or that it will prevent his ideas from spreading.

I disagree but only on one facet of it, society as a whole only gives a shit about their children nationally, hence why they don't do anything about companies using literal child slave labor out of places like china as a example, but lose their mind if someone tries it in their home country.
Any popular manga/anime/media becomes overrated when they are popular. But then again people are using the term "overrated" a bit too often when they're expressing their opinion.

I'd even dare saying that, in the western society, we are probably pampering children a bit too much. They become spoiled and we often hear about the "child king" where they think that parents should bow to anything they want. It happens in middle and upper classes, especially if he's an only child.
I just don't get the appeal it gets, I'm not saying it's a bad anime or something, but maybe it's more popular than it should be, like Dragon Ball or One Piece.
