Non-Gaming Hot Takes

Err... What do you mean by "cleaning"? Also having exes doesn't mean systematically that they slept with.

What's the number limit of exes then?
If a chick has lots of exes she's either a slut or unstable in most case, cleaning after means having to deal with the mess the other men left

Id say a couple

I mean women are allowed to get dressed the way they want like men
Sure they can, doesnt you wont get opinions abt it

I'd be curious to know the definition of "slutty clothing"?

Elbows, ankles, knees and other parts that aren't the underbelly nor chest areas are not sexual at all.

Practically walk around in a bra and with a costant wedgie, anything with maxiumum tna
As for kids having miniskirts cleavage and midriff before you're even halfway through middle school, its really something when the boys accompanying them still look like kids like damn

Pity young men about what?
The stutf I talked about

Normal people should have 0 reaction from looking and they don't have any reason to stare at to begin with.
So no one is normal lol

Any popular manga/anime/media becomes overrated when they are popular. But then again people are using the term "overrated" a bit too often when they're expressing their opinion.

Why are you saying "human"? There are non-human societies on this planet? Most animal species don't care about their offspring.

I'd even dare saying that, in the western society, we are probably pampering children a bit too much. They become spoiled and we often hear about the "child king" where they think that parents should bow to anything they want. It happens in middle and upper classes, especially if he's an only child.

While I agree that it's normal to have laws against violence towards them as well as child abandonment but sadly when a family is poor they tend to have more and usually some are unmonitored more often so it could lead to juvenile delinquency since they don't know what to do and the effects of not having love from parents can be extremely bad for the mind and their adult lives.

We have issues about how there are two polar opposites and while I'm not a child psychiatrist I think it's good to have boundaries, knowing that parents are not friends nor older siblings but authority figures and being able to procreate doesn't make someone systematically good parents.
I think kids need stuff like spankings, but only when absolutely needed, the problem i see is kids never see disipline now, also another problem is boys aren't taught to defend themselves which makes (not trying to be political here, mean it in the literal sense) soy boys, men who are afraid of difficulty and conflict.

Another problem is parents don't try to make kids "work" at all, when i was 10 my father had me go out to the back and crush a ton of cans, and sell the aluminum, it wasn't about how much i got for them, but for actually working, it made me realize that hard work earns worth, it's not just something your given.

It's nice to know that you support child abuse. /s

Well i went through them, i was spanked exactly 4 times by my father, because as my father told me later in life, it should only be used when you want them to know what they did was way too far, usually i got time outs or stuff taken away.

I will say if you spank your kid too much, it loses it's effect and the lesson becomes meaningless, my father told me his father spanked him exactly once, when he stole some money, he was the only one of his family to not get involved in crimes later in life (at least actual crimes, he was framed for breaking into his own house but that was in california's police state).

If you think spankings are child abuse just because then i think your insane, also i said spankings, not beatings.

You could've just said that you think it's okay to physically abuse children and saved yourself time writing all of this.

If a girl tried that when I was a kid dad wouldve given her a good smacking
Not literally but he's wouldve been Very Clear about it

Millennial soy is sad
Way too many boys never get into fights anymore or get tought to stand up for themselves or grow a pair, my friend once told my group "today teenhood ends at 25" and I hate that he's right
Like so many never know how to make people respect them, dont value themselves, lack initiative, dont work until much later in their 20s, they live like they're 12

Good dad! I helped at the steel processing factory, mostly bring stuff to ppl
It teaches you how to talk and move around by yourself

Are you just a shit sturrer?
I've yet to see anything sane out of you anywhere on the forum, you just try to tear down others arguments.

The problem people have is they are neither taught the wrong of their actions and aren't taught how to live, part of it is the schools want to make worker bees but parents can make their kids more capable of surviving the real world far more than a stranger could.

I'd rather be a shit stirred than somebody who thinks child abuse is okay.

Lol to me it sounds like your the one advocating child abuse here.

I fear this topic will get locked with people getting a warning.
Hoping and praying lol

Feels like this thread has been almost nothing but quarrelsome people trying to bait people who don’t get that the purpose of the thread was to blurt out stuff in a cavalier way into fighting for months, so the atmosphere feels really tense.

Maybe it has a purpose as a containment thread for bickering I guess lol

Fine I'll say something, Bojack Horseman sucks ass, I hate it

Tuca and birdie is a little better but not by much, at least the animation isnt terrible

I don't know if you meant me by "quarrelsome people", but if so, I apologize for contributing to the tense atmosphere. I sometimes have a hard time stopping myself from arguing with something I see as blatantly wrong.

Its not that...

Nah, I didn't mean anyone in particular really. More just that the thread has this weird serious vibe compared to when it was newer because most "takes" turn into long-ass discussions, and not just "i think basketball le suxx0rz".

Had it on Unwatch for a long time myself, but checked in once in a blue moon and it always seemed pretty angry.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Can't have even the most innocuous opinion without somebody demanding I explain myself like it's an interrogation.

I find it more interesting than angry. I hate lies and I'd much rather see people express themselves with some degree of freedom without being constantly forced to shut up if they dare speak anything that doesn't align 100% with whatever whoever decided is the official correct way to think now (which changes every few years anyway). And even if they're wrong, people are allowed to be wrong. I understand setting some limits, but strict limits against speech do more harm than good and adults don't lose their minds at the very thought that someone else could be wrong about a thing.

And most of times the family isnt prenent or stable and I say a stable family is everything!

Even with schools, idk what they're like now but when I went to middle school we'd to The Cappotto where your schoolmates would ambush you in the bathroom and pummer you lighlly. Nothing serious but it'd rough you up if you ever get in a real fight

Idk it this changed but one time a 20ish year old I knew texted me all the keyboard warrior insults you can think off, bc I didnt wanna gift him my modded switch

So I go to our hang out spot and grab his shirt and it rips as he gets with his back against the wall and literally stsrts REEEing. Like there was a pause between each yell.
Jesus how do you go on for 20+ years with no balls?

Yeah but that's kinda what I mean.
The thread kind of turned from innocuous opinions to people seeing how far they could go without breaking the rules, and it led to everyone getting really argumentative instead of just curious.

But I get that part of it is just me. I don't give a shit about what people think of something that's very clearly different/taboo depending on where you live for example, because it's such a moot point to bring up in an international forum without people interpreting it in bad ways.

I'm WAY more interested in hearing someone explaining why they hate salt liquorice or whatever on a silly vidya forum, I don't care what their views on nuclear power or guns are, and everytime someone drops a "hot take" in areas like those it usually just turns the thread into a minor battlefield for a while. Just boring is all.

Not against the thread existing, I just think it kind of devolved in a boring way (which is why I don't interact with it as much anymore). ::thumbsupwario
