Yeah but that's kinda what I mean.
The thread kind of turned from innocuous opinions to people seeing how far they could go without breaking the rules, and it led to everyone getting really argumentative instead of just curious.

But I get that part of it is just me. I don't give a shit about what people think of something that's very clearly different/taboo depending on where you live for example, because it's such a moot point to bring up in an international forum without people interpreting it in bad ways.

I'm WAY more interested in hearing someone explaining why they hate salt liquorice or whatever on a silly vidya forum, I don't care what their views on nuclear power or guns are, and everytime someone drops a "hot take" in areas like those it usually just turns the thread into a minor battlefield for a while. Just boring is all.

Not against the thread existing, I just think it kind of devolved in a boring way (which is why I don't interact with it as much anymore).

Also I find it super interesting that people have very different views about important topics in different countries, IMO it's part of the richness of humanity. There are lots of way a society can organize itself. The problem is people acting like they found the sacred truth of the universe and any questioning of it is a crime even though half the stuff they believe will be taboo in like 15 years (at least that's how it works in the West).

I totally agree! I guess I'm just tired seeing the same tired "I'm gonna say something real edgy and controversial" type takes on otherwise pretty unrelated enthusiast communities, because you see it a mile away, yet people always fall for it lol.

I think its more anglos or ppl who grew up on the 2010s internet than the west, europeans I meet online dont see themselves as the moral standard of the world. Anglos can have very Very strict ways of thinking, that's why they're easily triggered

I just wanted to answer a question I forgot to answer a couple pages behind.

My "Bloodline" is passed by my sister. My Lastname is disappearing, but there are still many men with it in Mexico and Spain, it is a rare surname and I like it, but the world does not depend on it, you can write it in a plate and christen a Restaurant, or Hotel with it.. (my other surname is literally "INN" or "Hotel" KEK)

I digress... My nephews remind me A LOT of me and my sister. Her husband could be a cousin of us, another white Eurasian... he has Pure Chinese a couple generations up, whereas we have Pure Sephardic Berber a couple generations up, we have Mediterranean recessive "Tanned" genes, and Nordic Mongoloid recesive genes, where we have pale whites with Epicantic eyes, in both families. We both also have redheads and green eyes in our families.

I do know some of my natural children are around and are cute and handsome, I did spread a bit my seed where there were rich soil and I could be dispensed with, where their life did not depend on my performance or presence, even. I was a "poor" foreign student, with a personality, a love of poetry and art, and an obsession for finding love with an "uptown" girl from the "scenes" I mingled in among high-rises and stone mansions with masonry towers, and forts.

I am not even kidding, and don't like to brag but I am proud of this: I was the first and/or only man a couple of Lesbian friends were intimate with. They were filthy rich and inherited just by having kids.

So yeah, I have a "race" identity, I have an ethnic pride, and I had a strong sexual drive and love for beauty and the knowledge of power and well established families with the power to live good or great lives without real struggle... I was enticed by them, and ironically it was easier for me to be a genetic donor than to marry one of my heterosexual lovers, whose parents did not approve of the foreign boy from a family with shady ties to certain government wings...

I had a good run, and now I see my nephews like my own kids, I am building an athrium/temple of a home, with collections of books, media, videogames, art, family history, and I ill leave it to my Godson.
I try to pass all my knowledge to him, hence he learns emulation and Linux, and ideals I learned from my Jesuit father, a rebellion and love of heroic justice, of God, of beauty, family, etc..

We are catholic I am not proselitizing, please do mind the paradox of being a shunned Cathollic because I am a liberal Jesuit, while the LGTVs hate me because I am an actual Lesbian trapped in te body of a man, but I do not believe in transition, and still believe in Traditional Family or Saintlike Life (Secular Priesthood) as a solution to the issue of debauchery and libertine degeneracy (I have been a nympho, a drug addict, an alcoholic, I have been gayish.. and I always find the most fulfilling life coming back to my Catholic values and collected life in presence of God).
