Non-Gaming Hot Takes

I have two that are related:

1. The intention behind a good deed doesn't matter. If someone donates to a charity, does it matter if they did it out of the goodness of their heart or to make themselves look better? The end result is the same.

2. Thought crime isn't real. You can have the most vile, morally reprehensible thoughts, but unless you actually act on them, they mean nothing.
1. It doesn't matter because in the end, the charity doesn't go to my pocket.

2. Agreed

That John Denver was full of shit man.

Eating a big greasy burger late at night before an 8 am dentist appointment IS a power and move and you can NOT argue with that fact.

Supporting someone who benefits ONLY you the most is kinda selfish
i wouldn't say "kind of". i'd say that is the definition of the word selfish.
support should be mutual, not one way.

I said that bc I was talking about polítics with someone in a chat room and they said that they'd only vote for a party that only benefits them and not the others or something like that.

that is selfish. a person like that can and will fall for lies, tricks and deceptions and will not be able to undo the damage that is done as a result of that. they will eventually be left behind and alone while others move on and come to agreements on difficult decisions and will grow as a result. this is already happening all over the world, and it will always happen.
that person will have some temporary positives in the present from the result of their actions, but will have nothing in the future other than loneliness and indifference from others.

It's okay to cut ties with people, even family, if they're not supportive. I don't have time for people that are going to be judgemental and not constructive. If you're not paying my bills, you don't get to tell me how I should be doing things because you have archaic and bloated views about what success looks like.

This may be a bit too specific.

I don't care what people say. Relentless, Reckless Forever album from Children of Bodom is fucking amazing.

Malcolm in the middle and el chavo del 8 are the only good sitcoms there are

I always thought meg was kinda cute, they have to go out of their way to draw her fatter than she looks sometimes!

Robin Williams should have interpreted that Jurassic Park 1 character that accompanies those 2 kids

I don't think you should leave any website/community (atleast if you are liked there)

Hasbro could've handled Thomas and Friends better than both hit entertainment and mattel

Le Foret being ignored when talking about Xiu Xiu's best projects is criminal in my opinion. Their early era is the only era that people generally like and then they ignore one of their best. Like dog, that album has Bog People. Bog People is like a top 5 Xiu Xiu track. What are you on about? Like y'all love A Promise and Knife Play, but then they always fucking skip Le Foret and go straight to The Air Force. C'mon man...........
