The original Guilty Gear from 1998. Sure, the gameplay isn't the best, but the sprites, stages and music are godly.Fire away and for FFS no petty arguments
Keep it civil people
i played it
It runs like shit on my PCSX2, but from the little I played, it is absolutely the most fun to play out of all the versions and spin offs of 7.Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII
I thought it was an enjoyable shooter with a really cool aesthetic, even if I did had my gripes with it in terms of the story (and the lack of appreciation for my boy, Caith Sith).
That's what bugs me about FF Streetwise. The game is okay-ish at least until you get to Little Italy. After that it just turns into Resident Evil, and not a good one, lol.I'll say it. Mind you the first half of the game.
Final Fight Streetwise
I was just happy to see Final Fight back in some form. How it set the mood and tone, showing Metro City is still shitty place. Just seeing the three OGs again as time has moved on. Sure, struck me a little odd to see Guy running his own Yakuza, Cody can't fight as well his knees went to shit and is teaching his little brother Kyle.
Lost interest during second half of game with the glow zombie shit. That's what kills the game for me. This is supposed to be Final Fight, not Resident Evil. Did manage to beat it, though I liked the reveal of the lass bosses' reason for doing what he did.
You know, I'm gonna put my answer as a reply to this because you just brought it up in my head.View attachment 79061
Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest. This one got a lot of hate thanks to a terrible English translation, and then it got even more of it from YouTubers like AVGN and their audience. But to me, it was always one of my favorites. I loved the atmosphere, loved the day-and-night thing... Not only was it not bad in my opinion, it was actually really good and charming.

Terminator 2 (NES). That's another one that got a lot of hate thanks to the "OMG! It's an LJN game!" crowd. It may not have been a perfect experience, but the atmosphere was super solid, and the gameplay was quite smooth (aside from that typical driving level people tend to hate). Best of all, it was one of those games that actually followed the movie really well. We got rewards for not killing people, familiar places were there, and even that famous part where Arnie had to save Sarah from the prison hospital while escaping T-1000 was included. I actually find myself replaying it now and then.
My only gripe with FNaF World was that it didn't show the gauge for how long you had to wait before your turn so it became super annoying. Besides that I actually loved it.FNAF World. Well... it was loathed at the time. People seem to be coming around on it now. I think the only reason people didn't like it, was because it wasn't your typical jumpscare affair.
Oh, and Bioshock 2. While the story was more or less a repeat of the first but at a slightly lesser quality, I felt that the gameplay was much improved.
Growing up, I had a cousin who had it on Xbox, I remember really loving it, despite growing up to dislike Mario PartyShrek super party, most of the hate comes from people who say it is a Mario party clone
An incredibly underrated game! Killer soundtrack and tight, responsive controls. Also one of the best co-op experiences on the NES, right up there with Contra and The TMNT Arcade Game.Anyone play Nightmare on Elm Street on NES?
We could be friendsRaiders on 2600. At the time people despised the clunky control scheme and obtuse world navigation. It was the first RPG I played and it started my life-long love of RPGs.
