Most Unfairly Hated Game?

Which good game do you think gets so much unnecessary hate for some reason?

Hm... well I can't rightly vote because, out of the ones in the list I know, I think the flak is justified LOL.

I didn't know that Mario Kart Wii was hated, that game is pretty good

Not on the list but PoP Warrior Within comes to mind. Yes it tried hard to be Edgy but still it has it's good points. And the devs even took some to the Two Thrones which was pretty good as well.

I think it was primarily because it felt like a step back from the DS version in regards to kart variety, but don't quote me on that (it's my reason for disliking it at least).

Not on the list, but my go to for this subject is Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge. The combat is fantastic but it has baggage in the fandom from being tied to the deeply flawed vanilla NG3. The game itself admittedly has issues carried over from vanilla 3 as well, but it's still a good game overall.

Granted, opinions have changed on it in recent years, but it was pretty unfairly trashed at launch. Likely due to being exclusive to Wii U at first, meaning many people didn't get to see how improved it was over the base game.

I don't think the game itself is hated as much as its poor performance is.

i think dragons dogma 2 got this real bad. the game doesn't run good, but it's actually awesome. it's almost the perfect sequel to dragons dogma 1.

out of the ones listed in the poll, i'm a massive super mario sunshine fan. luckily it's getting more appreciation as time goes on. what an awesome gimmick for a mario game, i hope we can see more stuff like that. odyssey had a cool idea but the execution wasn't there for me.

To be completely honest, Sunshine is pretty nice; what bothers me is just how bad the physics are when you can't use FLUDD. It seems they made Mario control worse on his own just to justify it.

I don't think too high of Wrath of Cortex (wasn't by lack of try), but it is a more faithful sequel than It's About Time is.

Voted on Donkey Kong 64, people take a single valid criticism from this game and turn it into "and that's why this game is universally bad".

I wish I could vote for both Sunshine and TLoU2. Yes, TLoU2 has a pacing problem, and the story isn't nearly as good as the first one (though the Abby segment was okay in my book), but come on, 0s and 1/10s on user reviews? That's nonsense.

Super Mario Sunshine isn't bad, come on.

I still say that No Man's Sky earned its redemption, and i still get people looking at me weirdly because i say its good.

I won't say that some people didn't make a big deal of this, but I'll say that the amount of love this game gets from its fans nowadays vastly outnumbers the hate.

I get the dislike and I get having preferences. We all have them.
I've heard people complain about F.L.U.D.D., how it trivialized platforming, how much hovering sucked, and so on.
But hating on it is a whole different level. That's why I was surprised. I've never seen or heard anyone truly hate on Super Mario Sunshine.

Honestly I hate no clue does 4 games where hated. I know Last of us 2 is hated I hate it my self and Niel Druckmann need to choke on his tongue or be buried alive. And no game play is not good it´s repetitive boring and that saying something as I love playing other games that can be repetive as hell but still fun.

But honestly I would say games that are unfairly hated is RE5 and 6 they are not bad game they still follow the cheekiness of past RE games and we need to quit calling them horror games RE series has never been horror it´s more like zombie movie games with tank controls and allot of puzzle.

I love RE allot I own every single game made and even all 3 animated movies on blue-ray im a huge fan but no RE has never been a horror game ever.

That games needs like a remake and rework the RTS part the most. Honestly my favorite part is starting out as a little speck of life and eat your self bigger bloody love that part allot.

But man I would love for a Spore remake where the RTS part of the game is made more advance and more fun.
