Most Unfairly Hated Game?

I didn't know that Mario Kart Wii was hated, that game is pretty good

Gen 3 Pokemon.
Half of the map is just water, yeah, so? Critics rarely mention why it's a bad thing.

it's funny and sad because that could have been a legitimate complaint; for both versions.
the underwater section only has 3 pokemon to encounter and the 3ds versions have 5.
not very many, and the above water sections also have this problem; 5 - 6 pokemon.
either a larger variety or less encounters would solve the main problem, boredom.
but no, just say, "too much water", instead of "lack of variety".
brilliant.

Actually, pretty much most Imageepoch and Compile Heart games really. People always judge them as the "you play one, you play them all" when they're anything but and actually quite creative despite being budget limited.

I also like Dark Souls 2. It's big and bloated and messy, but it has some of the best areas and boss battles in the series, esp. if you include the DLC. I also loved multiplayer in that game, despite some of the odd mechanics like soul memory.

Resi 0 is another game where I can see issues with it, like the item management, but I don't understand why it's often reviled to the extent that it is - the way some people will love REmake but really despise Resi 0.

Of the ones in the poll, I loved Sunshine, though I was probably 13 when I last played it. I didn't like DK64 even as a kid. Mario Kart is Mario Kart - I'm not sure if I've even played the Wii version or not but I'm sure I'd like it, lol. I've not played TLoU 2 yet.

peeps hate on this game, cause they get mad and all, a lot, but all i have to say is, its more like, prob, skill issue, plus this game literally tries to help you dealing with anger issues

I'd say this game being hated is more of a masochist reaction rather than bad reception
