While I do still personally love Goldeneye 64, it tends to get overrated by people that don't realized how much it's aged.

I'll pick this one instead.

I always found the first one felt very clunky to control

I actually don't understand the hype behind GoldenEye 64, Turok (as a series even!), DOOM 64 and Perfect Dark are much more compelling examples of console exclusive FPS games to put forward, and I'd argue they beat lots of games on competing platforms themselves.

It was important but nowadays the game has aged poorly against the test of time compared to melee or ultimate

I don't think aging is a reason to hate on a game; I personaly never liked triple A games for example and prefer low poly/stylized stuff. Maybe I misunderstood the comments, this is a retro forum after all yk

ya I wasn't gonna bother saying anything because it's so common, but saying a game aged poorly is dumb.

Goldeneye 007. Fuck that game to Oblivion! Like dead ass not joking! People still talk about how good the game is. Have these mofos even seen Perfect Dark? That game is leagues better than Goldenshits007. Sorry for the rant but I genuinely hate this game and im glad there is a thread where i can rip it apart as much as possible.
