I'm sure there will be no issues giving it a good bit of a heartbeat. We have more in common than just manga choice; I'm a huge Monster Hunter fan as well.

Looking at some of the monsters in base Wilds' roster, I strongly hope they'll bring back leviathans like Lagiacruz in the DLC, and maybe even Nakarkos. My pipe-dream choice would be Gogmazios, though.

Same here. Lagi has been absent for far too long already. 4U and GU are still peak in my book.

I haven't tried out 4u yet cause of 3DS controls but it sounds fun

ive mostly played generations, 4U, and worlds. anyone got a rec that feels pretty different (in like any regard) i should try next ?

Pretty much every game in the series has something just a little bit different about it which defines how they feel, at least for me.

Generation 1 and 2 of MonHun are something really special. It's def one of the more difficult installments but Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is absolutely worth checking out imo!

That being said if you want something really different MH2 Dos or Tri are some real black sheep of the franchise, as well as some of the community efforts to keep the mmo release MHFZ alive. Man that one's weird!

Believe me, there's a lot of MH coolness to go around. Wilds is a nice entry, but far from the only one.

Im pretty sure ive play a version of every game from Freedom to world, im a bit torn between a few as a MH noob but its nice to have so many options

That does sound useful

Yeah, it is useful. Of course, you can also get extra points to activate from charms and such, as with any other skill, but in my experience mind's eye is kind of rare. You'll still lose sharpness from attacking as normal, though.

yea hahaha it's a must for every meta build back then (probably now too idk i havent started wilds since i can't part with $99 for a game)

I am strictly anti meta, myself, it is nice to have knowledge, but I don't want to sterilize the fun out of my hunts.

I've never got to finish any of the Monster Hunter games that I've played. Here they are so far...

Monster Hunter 1 - Furthest I remember getting me having complete armor set of those blue running dinos.
Freedom Unite - I got to the snowy part
Freedom - On one of those Egg missions
Stories - The on i'm currently playing - I'm on the snowy parts

Side notes
Toukiden Kiwami - Beaten it and collected most weapons and armor but haven't touched post game yet.
Freedom Wars Remastered - Having fun Lowering my Sentence, currently on clearance Level 3 now.
