I really liked the athletic body Sakura gave to Zero Suit Samus (which makes sense for her games) but I also wish she could get a sort of redesign with short (or at least mid-length) hair because a ponytail would have a hard time fitting inside a helmet.

Samus is a woman, and I think she's also part alien. Haven't really dived into the lore of Metroid too much.

Idea for a Metroid game.

Certain areas of the planet are too hazardous for Samus to enter, even in her suit. So she has to control her suit remotely to enter these areas but the remote control of her suit only has a certain amount of range.

Kinda weird in a way, wouldn't she be more prone to hazardous areas without her suit then?

Not as long as she doesn't enter the hazardous areas.

But that's the point. The whole worlds she enters into has mostly hazardous areas. The only way I could think of that she could do something like that, is in like designated places and the likes of it. It's a bit of a strange idea, I don't dislik it, but I find weird how it could be properly implemented. If it's cool as how they have done with the AEION abilities, then i'd be sold.
