He's called Megaman C or something?
Yes, Megaman "Charge"

He has the sliding and charge shot from later games and the most broken playable character in the whole game all thanks that everything was made based of the original Megaman gameplay

Making a stage that C can actually get a challenge was one of the many custom stages created back then just to create a "harder" difficulty for the rest of the robots (even Roll who is also broken with her costumes)

I like him as a NG+ power fantasy character.

I forgot how Roll had many costumes. Were they DLCs?

Yep

Some plays a little different (Ninja deals more damage and Knight has a thrusting foward poke) but most of them are just fun costume change

Ninja is the broken version of Roll while Knight is like playing as Arthur (hard to use and not take contact damage with this one)

Yeah.
But Protoman can be actually unlocked by completing the 100 challenges but also can be downloaded as a DLC
Also, are you a Mega Man fan?

I always find it funny how Yuichiro named his child

i mean LAN and HUB damn he really obsessed with connection. But still the fact that he managed to copy the data of his own child made me think if he ended up in different situation he might became a worse villain than Willy.

Omg, someone talking about BN!

The name thing is more a "punny" choice for most of the cast. It kinda worked, tho. They did the same with Star Force

Also, when one keeps in mind how Hub died and how his parents feel at the moment....

If you have the tools and know how to at least save your child from death, is hard to just let it go

What i didnt like it is how at the start they didnt tell anything to Lan until Megaman was about to do one of his "sacrifices" instead of just said it to him (and no, nothing really could had changed more than Lan be more careful/worried about Megaman. The kid still did a lot of dangerous stuff to help his blue bro to the point he is more the Zero of this timeline than Zero.exe)

Also the copy data stuff runs in the family, this timeline Dr.Light did the same to leave a final layer of protection for a very dangerous program navi

Don't worry, i would play Battle Network eventually

Now that you say it Lan was indeed more like zero. Bro literally survived several terror attack by itself, doing parkour hundreds of feet from the ground, walking in extreme weather etc.

The first BN was the "test" game to see if the new take on the Megaman ip could work.... and it shows

The game is more annoying than it should, to the point the battles are the easier experience compared to the stages and quest

The stages are boring or harder than hard for the wrong reasons and some quest where.... interesting to say the least

Also the start of the tradition that is get all or almost all the chips to face the last optional boss

Even the "remake" (more like port with extras, still has all the problems of the original) didnt help one bit

And almost got Iris too ::cirnoshrug

'>' he really got the rizz lol. Too bad iris got sacrificed in the end.

And talking about the optional bosses i've only fought bass as the extra boss once. And it's was a hell of grinding.

I've only beaten the first Battle Network game.
I loved it but I don't see myself replaying it ever again.
Should start BN 2 soon.

GaMetal releasing peak again
I know, it's yet another remix of MM2 Wily Castle 1, something that got a hundred of them yet we cannot pretend it's not a great theme (especially for the NES).

I agree that lesser known themes from the series also deserve remixes and recognition but at the same time most are familiar with MM2's robot master cast and OST.

I think the GB OST also deserves some recognition

Since we are sharing remixes
