Didn't realize there was a Mega Man thread before I posted in the retro board...

I picked up the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection recently, and I've gone on a complete Mega Man kick. I really like the Zero games, especially with the collection's enhanced save feature which really removes a lot of the painful points.

I haven't finished ZX yet, but I would so far say
Zero 3 > Zero 4 > ZX > Zero 2 > Zero 1

Ok i respect this take, but in ost terms i will say that Power Bomb and the level it belongs to in Zero 2 will be always a changing experience for me, that level didn't need to go so fucking RAD as it was.

The entire reason I decided to play through the full Zero/ZX series was after seeing the intro to Zero 2 when Departure plays, so I understand the feeling

He almost reminds me of a Saint in an armour from Saint Seiya.

Yo guys do you think it's possible to beat the entirety of mmbn with using only the megabuster?

I know it wouldn't be effective againts any aura viruses or the lifevirus but i think it should be possible as long as we don't play in 1 and 6 (iirc)

At the beginning of the game it would be easy but very slowly because MegaMan only do 1 damage per shot
Also some viruses have shield and is imposible to hit them with the mega buster, so you need sword chips or any chip which can hit above or sides

And damn man using only the mega buster would be so boring

I wouldn’t advise wasting your time, he’s discussing an ancient forum troll post from Seth Killian (former Capcom employee, infamous for being a bit of a troll), nothing was found while datamining, this is another one of those “single sentence stretched to 10 minutes for ad revenue” vids, the guy even tells you to subscribe halfway to attempt a challenge that doesn’t exist. Mega man fans are definitely in their gta 6 phase where they’re starving for new content so bad they’re discussing these Easter bunnies that straight up don’t exist, kinda shallow on this guy’s part. I don’t approve.
