In 2012, I was starting to get curious about Megaman games I either missed out on or played little of when they came out. X7 fell under this, I played very little of it on release so I wanted to learn more about it but at the time I didn’t have access to the game itself so I looked around for footage and found a decent no-commentary playthrough. At the time, I was a bit more invested in X lore (compared to now where i just think it’s just a lot of hogwash) so the cutscenes are what I cared for most (not that there was anything to pay attention to at all during gameplay)

The playthrough got to the point where X first appears and I cannot describe to the utter shock I experienced when a no commentary playthrough randomly started playing baby crying noises the moment X got on screen. One of my absolute favorite things I witnessed on YouTube. I still associate X with the baby crying sounds to this very day and it’s quite appropriate. What a B.

That's a damn good metroidvania-ish collectathon third person action adventure shooter. You can really get lost in the levels and it's wonderful.
