Second done, I can see why MM2 has been regarded as such since it was a massive overhaul on the formula (and Willy Castle was more badass in this one).

Call me a genwunner/nostalgic person but those designs have little to no place in Pokémon imo.

The massive issue about this franchise is how they stopped making Pocket Monsters and instead focused on making anthropomorphic (if not humanoid) mascot characters to appeal to more people.

I digress into a different debate so with Gamefreaks I'll go back to Megaman by showing how Pulseman could easily be one Robot Master because of his look:
