I like to think of them as more of an alternate-universe side-story.

I have a few Mega Man fan games I've been sitting on for 5+ years and just got around to playing.
Rock Force, Rock 'N Roll, and Super Fighting Robot.
Started playing Rock 'N Roll first and it's pretty good. It's got some fun special weapons too.
I recommend it.

Mega Man Rock N Roll is so fucking good. Legit one of the best Mega Man games I've ever played.

I haven't heard of the first 2. I'll have to check those out.
I played a bit of 2.5D. Cool concept but it wasn't for me.

I remember playing Rock Force YEARS back and really enjoying it, but never finished it. Probably should try it out again some day.
Think the last Mega Man fan game I played was The Sequel Wars Episode Red.

Played Rock 'n Roll for the first time earlier today. Pretty fun game so far, but man, Reactor Man was one tough boss.

Megaman X8 demake is amazing. Im almost done with it and its the best homebrew megaman project for me so far. Its so good

Megaman X8 demake has absolutely awful on my end. I already dislike X8 as a base game and don’t see how this homebrew improves it. I recommend Rock n Roll instead.
