I have beaten mega man 1-10 alongside 11, meaning i've beaten every single classic mega man game possible
Lmao, I was gonna say. No Rockman & Forte, no valid “beaten entire series” claim.
I really like the animeHow do you guys feel about star force? I think that series deserved better coming off from battle network. 1 and 3 are good, 2 is serviceable if you have a lot of patience (or the notsodx patch). I always thought that Megaman Starforce has the coolest design out of all the megaman but only in star force 3 because omega-xis head as the buster looks dumb
Yeah, it was not too long ago, i've beaten them in mega man legacy collections 1 and 2
I enjoyed MMSF3 and thought MMSF1 had the best story in the entire franchise. How do you guys feel about star force? I saw the first season of the anime. I liked how they strayed a bit from the game's story to show a bit more of the FMians but it clearly shows that the studio ran out of time and had to wrap up everything in like 3 episodes. Sad, the Battle Network anime had like 6 seasons and i think 2 movies but Star Force only managed to get 20 episodes of 10 minutes each and then the second season gets cancelled right around the middle of it (or so i heard, haven't seen it yet).I really like the anime
Yes! It's insane how they managed to make the power of friendship not cheesy or cringe, especially at the end of SF3, pure kino.I enjoyed MMSF3 and thought MMSF1 had the best story in the entire franchise.
You’re right. BN/SF animes have story issues but personally (and this is just my opinion obviously) I really prefer them over the games. I gravitated more towards them since I never had any Nintendo consoles until my 20s, the animes were my only frame of reference as a Megaman fan who happened to like classic and X but wanted more meat as well.I saw the first season of the anime. handsome Megaman
Has anyone heard of (or read) this new manga called Mr. Mega Man? It's apparently a "What If?" drama series starring an adult Rock and Roll living in the future where both Light and Wily have died. According to the Amazon product description, it starts off being a light slice-of-life-style affair before moving into a more serious action drama later on.
The first volume comes out in a few days, and I really like the premise. If anyone buys and/or reads it, drop a line, because I'm strongly considering collecting the physical editions of this.
Imagine how wild future play-order guides will be.I think Roll looks like a honey, too.
If Capcom aren't going to make any more classic Mega Man games, I'm more than happy for them to continue doing weird spin-off stuff like this! They should make another animated series. I'D WATCH IT!!!!!
oooh, i wonder how the authors will adapt bass or if cossack will come up at some point. This is great because classic megaman doesn't have much of a character, so to speak.

Spoiler: Bass doesn't appear in Mr. Mega Man at all.oooh, i wonder how the authors will adapt bass or if cossack will come up at some point. This is great because classic megaman doesn't have much of a character, so to speak.
No way, really? Bass is the coolest character from the classic series, how can they not include him? He is megaman rival after all, Protoman doesn't show up either or what?Spoiler: Bass doesn't appear in Mr. Mega Man at all.
Now it’s literally unreadable.Spoiler: Bass doesn't appear in Mr. Mega Man at all.
Proto Man doesn't appear either cause he's dead.No way, really? Bass is the coolest character from the classic series, how can they not include him? He is megaman rival after all, Protoman doesn't show up either or what?
Wow this looks like a lot of fun! What’s it about?Proto Man doesn't appear either cause he's dead.

Speaking on a related topic, I'm way more excited over Little Mega Man/Rockman-chan being translated. The scanlations only went as far as the first three chapters, and I heard Bass is pretty cute in it.
Try Mega Man 11. It has an easy mode that might be up to your alley.how can i start on the megaman series, tried the nes, snes, gbc games but are way too hard for me, which entry is begginer level good to go? i really want to get into the series
From the little that I've read, it's just a pure slice-of-life gag manga.Wow this looks like a lot of fun! What’s it about?
Starforce seems more likely. I never played those ones either so it'd be cool to see. The Battle Network games are cool as shit and I never got to play them until the collection.MegaMan was my thing back in the day, problem is I'm more of a BN/Zero and beyond type of person. I don't like the originals from a gameplay standpoint, same as X. I do still like em otherwise and stuff.
I'm really hoping for a Legends or Starforce collection just to round off the collections already.
I don't know about that. Star Force games are much more dependent on the touchscreen compared to, say, ZX and ZX Advent. Capcom would have to rework the games to work without it, and we all know what Capcom thinks of putting in more than minimum effort into Mega Man. Plus, Legends got a cult following and notoriety from the Legends 3 debacle that Star Force doesn't have.Mega Man X and Legends might be the best ones for me. I never played Legends until like 2023. I see why everyone was upset about 3. Always heard about that one on videos and such but never really became interested in that subseries until recently. Wish I would have played them as a kid.

How dependent are we talking? Because the castlevania NDS collection added a Curser you control with the right joystick and and click with the trigger/shoulder. If we mean super fast paced clicks then yeah I can see what you’re talking about. If it’s only occasional or just slow touches then there’s hopefully hope!I don't know about that. I'm excited for the Warhammer and Unreal Tournament episodes the most so far. They recreated UT99's opening for the intro to the episode and the Warhammer episode ties in to the Space Marine game's story. I think I saw someone say that they were banking on the Concord episode being a better intro to the characters than what the game would've had so that's why it was bare bones in that aspect. I don't think the episode would've saved the game honestly.MMSF1 has multiple dungeon gimmicks that require you to use the touchscreen, and each one gets progressively faster and more difficult.
MMSF3 uses the touchscreen for stuff like looking at people's profiles and talking to their wizards (the game's equivalent of NetNavis). It's also used in battle to pick Support Cards, which are an important gameplay element.
I don't know anything about MMSF2, since I didn't play that one.

BTW, a new show by Amazon called Secret Level will be released just in five days.
It will feature Mega Man alongside other video game properties (like Concord, lol).
What do you all think?
