It seems this game is not in the repo so I'm sharing it.

with it being a static recomp you can do all that as mods
While true, Mario 64 is a proof example that there's a difference between unofficial widescreen support and official widescreen support, before Mario 3D All-Stars, Mario Sunshine widescreen hacks had some issues that were ironed out officially, not saying this is always the case (Sonic Adventure 2 took a different approach and Sonic Adventure completely scrapped widescreen at the last minute) but I still think a recomp using a better version that runs better and supports widescreen, higher framerate, has better texture, music, and controls, would've been the better option.

I wish someone would translate the PSP version instead, widescreen, better performance, better audio, better controls, higher resolution, it's not perfect but imo is a better candidate for a decomp/recomp, also afaik they added the extra content from the Japan exclusive demo.

yep but this one got a pc port & the other not so we can make the pc port as good or even better then the psx version

An inferior version compared to the PS1.

I wonder if there's any version of these games with enabled subtitles.
I know there's a function on the game engine to enable those during cutscenes, and this is used on translations made to other languages for the ps1 version.

Honestly yeah, the audio is garbage but something about it is so charming?

And for anyone wondering this is actually the only Mega Man Legends game that got ported to N64.

Nah all the other ones are only on PS1
Yeah heh, which would make logic sense, because neither "Mega Man Legends 2" nor "Misadventures of Tron Bonne" received any N64 ports.lol

Game very undervalued in its time. It's not perfect and it's lacking in weaponry but it's easy to play and it's a lot of fun.

i never played the ps1 version until much later so i was stuck with this version and its terrible voce compression sounding like listening to a tinny portable radio from a couple of soup cans on strings
I'd like a trabslation of the PSP version.
