And I think unless something changed android users won’t be able to use PS2 with retroachievements in regular mode in about a week or soAndroid is just an easier user experience and has basically everything you need. My one gripe is that linux gets the latest and greatest PCSX2 emulator and android does not. And I love ps2. Both aether and nether still have some wonky issues with certain games

I really enjoyed Linux for productivity though. I love using the terminal. Wouldn’t mind trying a dual boot setup next time

Sounds like the way to do it.I think it is but I didnt test other distros. I got F-Droid for the store and downloaded Retroarch right after that. Then Aurora store for the few non-FOSS APKs I have to use.
