PC port of Kirby's Return to Dream Land by ModernGekko. There's a Windows version and a Linux version, since I only have Windows this is the version I converted but you can grab the Linux version in the official github page. Source: https://github.com/ExpansionPak/ModernGekko/releases/tag/kirby

They ported Animal Crossing to the Vita which is a GC title, you'd be surprised how capable the Vita can be, this is a 2.5D game not very demanding, they ported PS3 and PS4 games to the system, with well optimization it should be more than possible.
Animal Crossing's a little unique in that it was originally a 64 game. Because of its smaller size, the game can be played without the disc because the game's data stores in the GC's memory

you get the the rom from your totally legit copy *ahem* and put it in the right folder, though i'd request the uploader to include the rom too but they did great already. this is hype 💜
Does this not work without the Rom? I removed it in account it still works for me without but I wanted someone to confirm.

28 MB only? Sounds fishy. I clearly remember the Wii game being around over 4GB+ at least.

We have been eating good with all these PC ports!

I must've skipped over 20 decomps and recomps in the past couple of months, they just keep coming, this one in particular caught my eyes because not only is it a game I quite like but it's well optimized and runs well on my Win10 but it's odd how it's so small in size I would like if someone can test and confirm I didn't make any mistakes.
Atp we may get the majority of the retro games decomped lol

Nice, but my hacked Wii works so I won't use this for now.

Yeah I got one and play it regularly, but you must agree that Animal Crossing isn't a very demanding title. Neither is this Kirby game but I guess we have to wait and see.

The Vita can barely hand Star Fox 64 at 40 FPS, I don't think it will run any Wii game at reasonable speed.

I hope most of these Wii recomps gets ported to Android so I can play them on my Retroid.

No way, even return to dreamland got ported already? 👀
