ITT: Post stuff that are extremely nostalgic to you

Here are a few nostalgic Pokemon videos from YouTube that I go back to every once in a while. Shout-outs to early Newgrounds, as well, for videos like Mario RPG's Forest Maze/Rawest Forest animations.

Dangers of the BadEgg

Real Life Pokemon Battle

I have very fond memories of going to the arcade and always trying out this ball game where you threw it at the screen to take out enemies. I forgot what it was called, but I’d try it repeatedly just to get a high score! ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ

I am five years old.

any of the gall force anime or the intro to sailor moon

First anime I was truly obsessed with as a teen.
Some days, some nights. Some live, some die in the way of the Samurai

Probably most op and ed of old anime, dub in my natal language.
Those make me cry sometimes.

Aw this reminds me. I used to stay up late in secret when I was young to watch Inuyasha on Adult Swim. Used to always wake up to this. Samurai Champloo goes hard, and so does Inuyasha lol.

(Serious): Ah, Roam, and poor poor Nero. Roam was a beautiful city, a great place to escape and enjoy the nightlife. Fond memories, indeed.

It's a shame how things change, but at least I have those moments to cling to. Darkness has a certain charm, doesn't it?

During its heyday, the 'Full Metal Panic' license was picked up and recreated for different types of entertainment, but the original source was the novel, which splits into two timelines: one that mixes drama and humor and one that only takes the second element and pushes it to the extreme.

I'm personally fond of both approaches, but today going back to the television series is rather sad, because we're talking about dead and interrupted tracks, both from Gonzo first and Kyoto Animation later, that will never be completed in our lifetime...

Gonzo imploded in the early 2000s due to an excessive production of titles and Kyoto Animation seemed like the newfound light at the end of the tunnel, but in the end they abandoned both this product and later 'Lucky Star' as well.

In the end, shows like 'Haruhi Suzumiya' and 'K-On!' fucked them over for good, because they took them in a direction that makes me not give a damn about them or their productions anymore.

I know that a fourth television series was produced by Xebec in 2018 ('Invisible Victory'), but in the end that initiative died too and several years have passed since then...

Rest in peace, 'Full Metal Panic'.

I'm love this one!
It's so sick right? 😂 My parents used to record films off the TV onto VHS tapes, and so we'd have all the timely 90's adverts preserved, and this was one of my faves. I used to watch it over and over again as a kid.
