It's time we have "the talk"

Well, you are still good... I literally never ate pizza! 😅
It's really just a big open face sandwich. As an Male from the U.S. who is not only a gamer, but a musician, I've eaten so much pizza, I could probably never eat it again, and be perfectly fine with it.

My friend, if you ever get the chance, I’d certainly recommend trying it, if only to see what all the fuss is about. Start with some light meat and veggie toppings, and if you like those, you’ve got a whole world of flavours to enjoy.

I could probably never eat it again, and be perfectly fine with it.
Conversely, I could eat pizza every day, for every meal, and never get bored of it. 🤤

Pineapple on Pizza can work, if done right. Sometimes it tastes quite bad, though I am also one of the dudes who likes Spinach Pizza, so...

The first time I had spinach it was in a lime Jell-o mold. You know, one of those "recipes" from the 1970's. It ruined spinach for me, and even today I can't eat the stuff without gagging.

I'm cool with pineapple on pizza. But I'm not a fan of changing the sauce from red tomato based to a bbq or buffalo ranch. Pesto is good though. Here's a recent pizza

Unfortunately I actually really like the taste. I know it's an abomination to the Italians just on the border but I love it. I've even seen someone eat roquefort and pineapple pizza but that's too far even for me!

I'm for having pineapple on pizza but for some it is an acquired taste.

It has been a while since having a pizza though as not many here have dairy free shreds on offer. Much sadness.

All depends on the quality of the pineapple. Hard, syrupy pineapple chunks straight from the tin can go to hell. Thin, fresh slices baked into pull-apart tenderness... heavenly.

I do like hawaiian pizza, if the pieces are broiled it's really good. If they are soggy and juicy it ruins it. Also if they use huge chunks of smoked ham instead of thin slices.

Your parents/guardians sat you down, there's obvious tension between the two as they stare at you.
Then they tell you what's going on, why there's constant bickering since they got home.
Your mother says: Pineapple on Pizza is the greatest thing ever. Your dad's face clenches with disgust.
They want an answer from you.
Let me know how you all feel about Pineapple on Pizza and which toppings you prefer or advise others to try.

(im hungry and running out of ideas to talk about, also Pineapple on pizza is goated.)
generally pinapple on pizza is good if it was made right, what i mean by that is the sauce itself should be on the same boat with the toppings, you are making a meat lovers pizza? make your sauce salty and tangy, making a plain cheese one ? Make it flavor heavy sauce and marinated so when you put the cheese it sucks up all that flavor and not the oil "crispier cheese and more flavorful" making a pineapple pizza ? sweatin your sauce a lil bit, add honey and brown sugar to it and make it almost gravey like with still heavy tomato taste, just give a lil sweetness from the honey and any other sweeter you put there, we have a dish in the Middle East a "pie" that salty and sweet called عش البلبل - Ush albulbul or ltrly translate to "nightingale's nest"

BELBOL_source_jf_2.JPG

the main sauce is a mixture of Labneh and Halloumi cheese (salty dairy) and the topping is a sweet combination of honey, maple and sometimes any sweet shit you moms like and put it there, every household makes their own Ush albulbul and turns into insecure Italians if you didnt do it " the right way", my 10/10 Ush bulbul is basically how I explained how I would make the pineapple pizza ill sweeten the sauce that's the secret to make it work in my humble opinion so yeah :) hope this helps

I won't turn it down, I rarely turn down food unless it's straight doodoo or just inedible. But I don't think it's something that necessarily belongs on a pizza. My favorite pizzas are always what you'd refer to as a supreme pizza. Pepperoni, Sausage, Olives, Bell Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, and my recent favorite topping, Jalapeños. I feel like Pizza is a savory type of food and sweet things kinda ruin it a bit. But I did have a pizza recently that had Honey rubbed on it and that was sort of good.

Here's the recipe.
That scares me.

Pineapple and Canadian bacon is great!

BUT you CAN NOT beat a deep dish Meat Lover's with mushrooms.
