Your parents/guardians sat you down, there's obvious tension between the two as they stare at you.
Then they tell you what's going on, why there's constant bickering since they got home.
Your mother says: Pineapple on Pizza is the greatest thing ever. Your dad's face clenches with disgust.
They want an answer from you.
Let me know how you all feel about Pineapple on Pizza and which toppings you prefer or advise others to try.

(im hungry and running out of ideas to talk about, also Pineapple on pizza is goated.)

Pineapple on pizza's great, as is just about anything else that doesn't get burnt and isn't already a complete dish on its own, such is the greatness of pizza, hallowed be its name.
That said, I once saw a pizza with a full pasta dish as a topping. Let alone one with another pizza on top of it... the height of depravity.

I'm a tuna sorta guy. So tuna, onions, some olives, some chili flakes, maybe some feta or capers if I'm feeling fancy on an almost (!) crispy, thin crust... Now I'm hungry too. Damnit.

The pineapple on pizza is great
The regular Pepperoni though? Ooh

As many here know, I am Italian, and in our country pizza with pineapple is heresy, a mortal sin. However, some Neapolitan pizza chefs nowadays do not condemn it a priori, and appreciate its contrast between sweet and savory.
As far as I'm concerned, the quality of the ingredients (fresh, produced nearby and without pesticides) is more important than the type of seasoning. My favorite is the four seasons pizza, chock-full of mushrooms and various large-cut vegetables, with mozzarella (preferably buffalo) and with a high, soft crust. ?

I wouldn't order it myself, but I wouldn't turn down pizza that had pineapple one it.

Pineapple on pizza is fine if that's what you're into. I like it okay, but don't generally order it myself. I do like some unusual topping combinations (alfredo sauce, broccoli, and garlic is a favorite, as is saukraut and ham),and I'm a fan of both Taco and Breakfast Pizza.

But most of the time it's Pepperoni and Cheese at my house.

I suppose my most controversial pizza opinion is that New Jersey pizza is better than New York Pizza, Chicago and Detroit style are better than either, and St. Louis style is something I wouldn't feed to a pig.

What does bug the hell outta me is how upset some people get about the toppings other people put on pizza. Like, dude, I ain't askin' you to eat it, chill the hell out.

I literally never ate pizza with pineapple toppings.

Pineapple in pizza is perfect when pizza has any strong cheese like blue, gorgonzola, roquefort, gruyere, cabrales, etc. The saltiness and the spicy/funky flavor combines really really well with the sweet pineapple

I'm as boring as a one-color Rubik's Cube, so I only ever top my pizza with cheese.
Hey, the basics matter for a reason, nothing boring about it! The right crust, the right sauce and just the right cheese? Perfection.

Am I or am I not Italian?

This is a very important factor in determining the outcome.

I never tried it and never will; but hey more for you. I love the mixture of sweet and salty savor so a little sugar in the middle of the sauce preparation will do the job fine for me.

For years, I was a strict anti-pineappleite. Pineapple… on pizza? Are you out of your coconut? You might as well put ketchup on steak! Lemon in tea! Raisins in cookies!

AND THEN.

On a trip to Maui, at a gorgeous restaurant, set against the dimming Hawaii sky, I tried it. Thin crust. Slow-roasted Kahlua pork. Sliced jalapeños. Light cheese. Light sauce. And pineapple — fresh, juicy, succulent Hawaiian pineapple, that tasted like I’d been tongue-kissing the goddess of infinite pleasure.

And my life changed forever. I’m reformed. I said I’d never do it, but you bastards changed my mind.

I’m still against sliced ham, though… eeeugh!

I have nothing on the subject, I just wanted to say this is maybe my favorite thing I've read on this website thus far.

Congratulations on writing a funny premise!
Pineapple on pizza is fine; heck, where I live pineapple pizza proper (in which itt is the sole topping) is fairly common, and delicious, too.

Yesterday I ordered a pizza, the delivery driver drove so fast that the whole pizza looked like an accordion and all the topping was in the box. Had to throw it away.
It was the first time I threw away a pizza. Very sad day.

On Topic: I wouldn't eat it but if others want it I won't get mad. One pizza each everyone's happy hurray!

Too bad your pizza wasn't delivered by a certain Panda Trueno....

FINALLY! justice to the most snarked at topping
Since pineapple, unlike most pizza ingredients doesn't conserve naturally and syrup leaves sweet flavor, many people associates that with bad flavor, but like most foods, in good hands pineapple actually fits in there, ham may not be a good companion, but i tasted Caesar pizza with bacon and pineapple and God walked into my mouth for a while
By the logic of "Sweet doesn't go on salty foods" We should hate those who boil pasta on milk (Yep, they are real) by the end of the day, pizza is like a sandwich, a blanc canvas for imagination (Unless you put chocolate or bananas there, WTF is your problem if you do that?)

Not only did I not like that "pizza with pineapple" thing, but one day for some reason my mother had the idea of making it, and as I expected, I couldn't keep eating after the first bite: it was disgusting. Everything on pizza is salty, while pineapple is too sweet.
