I think so too that certain types of villains are irredeemable and thinking otherwise would just lead to more deaths. Example: Joker (from Batman). There's a lot of stories where people try to "cure" Joker, but it always end in disaster. Same thing for Griffith from Berserk and Pokey Minch from Earthbound/Mother 2.

But i don't know. Maybe he can convince them to be good
