The weird thing is that someone would be triggered by that article. If a video game helped someone discover their sexuality, then good for them. It is an interesting perspective and life experience. That is literally what the article section is for, interesting insights and perspectives related to gaming. If you get triggered by stuff like that, it is my opinion that you don't belong here.

I'm sorry you and the other mods have to deal with this kind of shit. I'd imagine being a forum moderator in this day and age must largely be an awful experience. Some people are just miserable and want everyone else to be as miserable as them.

Implying that we have 'mods', if we did people would be able to talk about being gay/trans and  existing without these types of people coming up with their angry opinions arguing against our right to exist, and it all happened within 10 minutes a harmless article popped up in the feed.

No, moderation isn't deleting everyone's posts regardless of intent at that point; nor is it allowing these attacks to continue.

But one of reasons trans/gay get hated is so much quick changes and weird stuffs like making a father never could see her daughter again because a doctor choosed to change his daugher gender without his permission and as he try to public it they sue him!

Or trans people won all of cups on woman sports. So many other stuffs.

I rather have a chill atmosphere too but that comes from a place of mutual respect where we all see each other as human beings regardless of our race and/or sexual orientation. But there's a certain group of people who don't believe that certain people deserve to be considered human. You can't have a chill forum with those people, as proven by this thread.

Yes and I get that we all have biases and admit I am racist, sexist, etc. but we have to reflect on our words, actions etc and how they impact people.

Sometimes we don’t even realize we are offending someone. I can not speak whether this should be a safe space for marginalized communities because I don’t own the forum.
