You can get one pretty cheap if you don't mind an imperfect second hand one, no? The only things you'd really have to invest in would be a new battery (Ostent is reliable as far as I've read and will only set you back about fifteen bucks), a memory card adaptor, micro SD card for said adaptor if you didn't have one hanging around and a charger if it didn't come with one (and you can get ones to plug into a USB slot of a phone charger these days).
the thing is that my current finances are not great, and before I get a PSP I had to fix my DS. I got that one for cheap and my first batch of fixes... didnt go as planned lol.
But you are right, maybe in the near future, after I fix my DS, I will start a second project of grabbing a PSP and leaving it as close as new as my skills allow.
I do want to play some PSP games (Ace combat X my beloved)
