How long have you been emulating games?

Gosh, I think it would have been playing some of the old Zelda games back in around 2013, 2014? Ever since I got my own computer its been loaded with retro games and emulators.

Since 2008 I have been doing the compilations of games such as sonic gems collection of gamecube in this case the game gear and genesis games (Vectorman 1 & 2) that you get to unlock both by spending many hours of play on the compilation that were emulation but official and physical, as well as the mega man x collection that were the first 2 games of the saga x of snes but officially emulated as well as the other games of the x saga as X3, X4, X5, X6 as well as the unlockable (Mega Man - Battle & Chase) that I could never unlock which are PS1 but also officially emulated and physically, But it wasn't until 2013 that I started emulating FC~NES (VirtuaNES), SFC~SNES (Snes9X), N64 (Project64), etc. you know on PC, because on Android it was not until the end of 2014 that also emulated NES.Emu, Snes9X EX+, MegaN64/N64oid, etc.

Since 2012, I remembered play COD MW (DS version) using DeSmuME. I don't know why that version appear on my laptop, maybe my brother download and put it in. For me, It was great experience, despite that fpt and performance wasn't good enough :))

I also downloaded and played many Pokemon GBC rom hacks in my Nokia phone with MeBoy. Unforgettable memories.

All the real emulator oldheads remember using ZSNES in the 2000s and turning on the snow effect. And also resetting the controls every time for some reason??? Why didn't I use SNES9x sooner.

It had to be around 2002 or 2003 when I was like 12. I remember asking my dad to look up on KaZaA (anyone else old enough to remember that?) for "Mega Man X3" since it was impossible to find a copy of it and we ended up downloading a rom, though I didn't figure out how to actually run it for like a year or two later and just had it sitting around in a folder called "Games".

I did not actually know how to use the internet outside of playing shockwave games based on cartoons so I didn't know I could search around online to figure out what we even downloaded.

Almost as long as I’ve been playing games, memories are vague because I was rather young; I believe it was my second console (after my ds), a psp gifted by my mum with a bunch of GBA games on it.

Then a couple years down the road I really wanted to play the GBA Pokémon games (the psp was broken at this point because I was a dumbass child) so figured out how to emulate it on my laptop around the age of 10-12, I believe.

2011(14 years already wow)
i'm first emulating NES and CPS(dunno 1 or 2,the one with The Punisher in it) on my phone. It works well, because it's a built in emulator.
I tried MK3 on GBC then which was running so slow.

i got a PC extra late, around 2010, and it was also a not great model
so mostly MAME, Final Burn Alpha
8/16 bit systems emulation, all that i didn't had the real counterpart
