Hidden Gems!

There are many hidden gems that I enjoy but here are a few:

One for PS1. It was a fun game but difficult to find due to the title. You’ll have to type in ASC Games One PS1 or something along those lines in a search engine.

Fantasy Golf Pangya for the PSP
Gurumin for the PSP
Gitaroo Man for either the PSP or PS2
Drill Dozer for the GBA
Boktai for the GBA
Rhythm Heaven for the DS

I have asked a lot of places the same question: PS1, PS2; What are true hidden gems?

I am trying to expand my gaming with these systems and this would be huge to find games I never knew about, that are sick.

Cheers, post them up!

hellnight/dark messiah is a really cool dungeon crawler/survival horror game, i watched a video by MarshSMT about it and it seems awesome.

for games i've recently played, uhhh... Tall Infinity and Devil Dice are pretty cool ! two puzzle games about rolling cubes around.

Infinite Undiscovery

Lost Odyssey

Operation Darkness

Command and Conquer Red Alert 3

Apocalypse Desire Next

Urban Reign
The Red Star
Shadow Of Rome
Crimson Sea 2
Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams
Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes (JP Only!)

All of them are fairly obscure and not well-known, and these are all Action titles

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but I recommend FlipNic. It's an artsy pinball game with some cool level design and music. Very much a "virtual" pinball game that doesn't just try to replicate a physical table.

I can't recommend the movie it's based on but this is a fantastic hack and slash game. You can unlock multiple versions of Ghost Rider and Blade. There's also unlockable Ghost Rider comics you can read.

I couldn't find a hidden gems thread that wasn't on the Retro-Gaming board, or Sega or Sony specific.

Share games you barely heard anyone talk about. Or games you think people might know about, but they just never tried while they totally should.

I would love to find out about some new games!

Hidden Gems in my opinion (the ones that come to mind without thinking of it too much)

:

"Stella Deus" for PS2, great tactical-rpg, beautiful graphics, beautiful story, beautiful characters and one of the very rare cases in which I was almost rooting for the villain, despite understanding the reasons of my party
"Lapis X Labyrinth" for Switch (I played on it) and other consoles, roguelite (sort of?), you collect tons of equipment and explore labyrinths with a timer, creating your own party from various classes and then enjoying the "fever" explosions of colors and jewels on the screen
"Dual Pen Sports" for 3DS (I can't say why, but I enjoyed it in little doses for some weeks, some sports where better designed than others and the graphics were simple but cute)
