Please always be that guyNow I don't want to be that guy
But the Arabic opening is waaaay better
I am already a HUGE fan of these games. I had 1 as a kid, never tried 2! Lets get it!
Big fan of muvluv!idk if anyones brought it up yet but the muv luv trilogy was on 360 which are some banger vns. definitely not ideal to play on xbox for most people since that release was jp exclusive but i thought it was a weird enough release
Ah yes a fellow man of culture fr frPlease always be that guy
Because you are correct
Absolutely certain that I heard about this game when it came out as a kid, back when video games had a TV show. Really cool concept.Blood Will Tell on PS2, they should have use Dororo as a title instead.
If you know the manga then you know the drill, you play as Hyakkimaru, your job is to hunt down demons to retrieve your human body. I love how they incorporated this into gameplay, you start off playing in monochrome until you retrieve your eyes, then slowly learn new abilities as you regain your body, like double jump from the legs, or sensing enemies with your nose.
Oh and you might notice that Amemiya Keita is part of the design team, mostly known directing dark and grittier Tokusatsu shows before this, he is also the character designer for Onimusha 2 and 3. His handiwork and style really stand out in this game, I mean you can add almost all of the demons here to Garo tv series and no one's gonna notice.

The Kane & Lynch duology. Solid co-op shooters based in the Hitman universe with brutal stories. They have some cool unique multiplayer modes that may have inspired Payday.

Now an actually hidden gem that's rarely talked about. Eat Lead is this parody of the game industry where this Duke Nukem-type guy tries to fight against his publisher who's trying to kill him off. The gameplay is serviceable, being just more cover-shooting like a lot of the games at the time, but it makes up for it in character.
The game tries to be funny, and, for me, it actually lands a lot of the bits. There's a bunch of enemy types that shake up the flow like the fratbro space marines, Wolfenstein soldiers that turn their sprites sideways, zombies that are weak to water guns and a boss fight against a JRPG protagonist, menus and all.
It wasn't well received on release, but I think people should give this one another shot.
