Every character has an animal spirit that aligns with one of the 12 animals in the Eastern Zodiac (the roster is 8 characters so 4 animals go unused). Each time you defeat an opponent you get their animal spirit. They're similar to Stands from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

when i played this my game was very buggy but it was because i used cheats or my cd-r discs sucks
