Brazil:
a new investor note that it believes Take-Two should price GTA 6 at $80 to help drive prices higher across the industry.
How does NTE run on the Thor? It looks super good on PS5, I'm impressed the Thor can handle it.western triple A gaming is on its way out, has been on its way out for quite some time now
they chose to simultaneously reduce the quality and increase the price at the exact moment where the competition is catching up fast, supply and demand, the market won't lie
the new kings of the gaming industry will be, on one side, unemployed basement NEETs who have an idea and are able to make whole unique & fun games all by themselves and release them for like five bucks, on the other side, Chinese/Singaporean companies building gacha games of triple A quality playable FOR FREE on every major platform including Android if you have beefy enough hardware, I have been playing NTE on my Ayn Thor for the past few days, I can confidently say that China not only saved gaming, they even managed to single-handedly bring handheld gaming back to life
You're right, but prices back then were higher due to less games overall. Today gamers have much more games to choose from. That creators competiotion make games cheaper and there is no reason to make games pricer except from humanity greed.I agree, but I think it also depends on WHAT you are getting for your $80 — Duke Nukem Forever used to be $100, but it came with a ton of goodies.
If they don't give you a lot, then yeah... No thanks.

it's actually very stable, the game never crashed and always felt responsive, I think I can even minimize the app and come back and it doesn't cause any problem at allHow does NTE run on the Thor? It looks super good on PS5, I'm impressed the Thor can handle it.
Was that the version the came with the Duke bust? I got that for the 360 from Decluttr for $15.I agree, but I think it also depends on WHAT you are getting for your $80 — Duke Nukem Forever used to be $100, but it came with a ton of goodies.

You had me until gacha. I don't like $70 AAA slop, but gacha publishers barely qualify as human beings.western triple A gaming is on its way out, has been on its way out for quite some time now

With how popular and profitable the online in GTA 5 is for Rockstar, I'd say it's more than likely that the singleplayer mode of GTA 6 will be skimped more for the multiplayer. Probably no singleplayer DLC.The single player is one thing and that's only half the experience, we still know nothing about online mode.
Bro is been like 3 years since i have heard of this supposed Crash. At this point its been speculated and anticipated as much as GTA6.There is data that shows the average PC Gamer pays $20 per game.
There is also data showing that outside of sports games, console game sales are decreasing.
The industry was pressuring GTA6 to release at $100 a year ago, now they're urging $80.
GTA6 Will sell, but it's not going to set a new standardised price point. Far from it, people will buy GTA6 and play it rather than investing in other titles.
The great industry crash/reset is inevitable.
PlayStation 5's console sales have slumped hard at around 40% less since the last price hike. Less than 40% of players are buying new games. Imagine if game prices rise up to $80. PlayStation is apparently despairing for GTA 6, pitching it to investors as a profits boon. Some analysts are hoping GTA 6 will make it trendy to price AAA games at $80. Imagine if GTA 6 fails to meet expectations... Imagine if it suceeds! And now online age verification is entering the conversation as well. The picture is overall grim for the gaming industry as it stands, no matter how you slice it.Is the gaming Crash in the room with us right now? Will the real gaming Crash please stand up?
